As we enter the Spring 2024 grassroots season, it is time to wrap up coverage for the Class of 2024. These Seniors have given us great memories over the past four years, and they are that last class who had to deal with the dreadfully inconsistent 2020-2021 COVID season. We finish with 250 players listed in the Class of 2024, including a Top-125, plus a watch list of another 125 prospects. This will be the last time we update rankings for the class, and below I have taken the time to highlight all of the 2-guard prospects in this class we currently have listed. Below that is a look at a few who remain uncommitted, to the best of our knowledge.

– Allie is actually the only 2-guard in our Top-125 who has yet to choose a college destination. She is long, wiry, fluid, and smooth with the ball. She is a nice passer, a very good perimeter shooter when set and in rhythm, plus she has gotten much better at attacking the basket and finishing through contact. She recently picked up her first Division-I offer, but she has held numerous offers from some of the better Midwestern small colleges.

, 2024, 5-8 SG, Hanover Central H.S.
– Skylar is a talented multisport athlete who does a little of everything for Hanover Central. She has an athletic frame, nice length, and she moves well in most directions. She was more of a wing guard, or even a wing forward, when she was younger, but the last couple of seasons she has handled the ball a lot more. She can shoot it a little, but she’s better attacking the basket North/South. She could commit to a college in a number of sports.

, 2024, 5-8 SG/SF, Carmel H.S.
– Keaton is the daughter of a coach, and when you watch her, you see that understanding and toughness on the floor. She is one of those kids who is good at most things, maybe not elite at any one thing, but also not deficient at anything. She is just a nice, solid ballplayer. She can handle it a little, shoot it a little, get downhill and score at the basket, and she’s an effective and effortful defender. She has drawn a lot of small college interest.

Jaya Johnson
Jaya

Elkhart | 2024

, 2024, 5-7 SG, Elkhart H.S.
– Jaya is kind of under the radar because she missed some of the grassroots season last Spring. She did play in July, and she had a solid season this Winter for the Lady Lions. She is a really nice athlete who can run and jump, she plays with a good motor, and she can become a game-changing on-ball defender with a little more discipline. Offensively, she is more of a driver, but she can get to the basket and finish, and she rebounds her position well.

, 2024, 5-7 SG, Jeffersonville H.S.
– La’Kyra is another really nice athlete from Southern Indiana who traditionally played grassroots basketball out of Louisville. She is very active, energetic, and she can get to the rim, plus she’s an aggressive defender. As she continues to improve her perimeter shooting, she’ll be that much greater of a threat as a scorer. She is an exceptional rebounder for her position, and she’s explosive enough to become a point guard over time.
