Freshman Stock Risers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The AAU season is getting going soon and with that comes the rankings being updated eventually soon, here are a couple players in the 2027 class that will likely see their rankings rise when the updates comes out after a strong start to their high school careers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='764345' first='Laney' last='Weaver']</strong></em> - Puyallup HS - Laney is a 5'8" wing who will likely still be growing. She has great footwork down low and in the paint. Weaver showed her ability to finish with both hands, being just as effective with her left as she is with her right hand. Her deep shot is consistent and as she gets more comfortable on the court, she will be a top player in the class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Kylin Kinchen</em></strong> - Seattle Prep - Kylin is a gritty guard who gets to the bucket nicely and scores through contact efficently with either hand. She has elite defense, causing many turnovers and is able to finish in transition at a high rate. Her deep shot is a big threat, so defenses can't leave her open or she will drain multiple catch and shoot threes on the defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='751204' first='Capri' last='Hollenbeck'] </strong></em>- Tahoma HS - Capri is a 5'7" guard who bring a ton of energy to the court. She has great ball handling abilities and finds her spots very well. Her mid-range shot is elite already and will only continue to get better and more efficient. Her quick feet and hands on defense result in many steals for herself which lead into easy transition buckets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>Katie Reinkensmeyer </strong></em>- Skyline HS - Katie is a great leader on the court, being vocal and facilitating the offense to a high level. She finds her teammates in transition easily but also can finish at the rim soothly. This point guard has elite speed with the ball in her hands but also fantastic vision on the court, being able to see her open teammates through the defensive traffic.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
