Jamiyah was on fire in the championship game against Inland, dominating every inch of the court. She excelled in offense and defensive rebounds as well as a couple blocks. She has relentless energy and her tough physical defense is what wins her team games. She also has a great touch when it comes to close range shots and she can hit a layup when the opportunity arises. She is a fun player to watch!

Michelle uses her voice to direct her teammates from her central position and she is a great stabile anchor for her team. She sets most of the screens for the outside players which frees up an open lane for her teammates to drive to the basket or take a shot. She also gets her job done by protecting the rim and securing rebounds. Michelle uses her height to her advantage by using good post moves and creating plays by moving the ball.
Julia excels in leveraging her height, particularly in rebounding and stealing. After securing a rebound, she swiftly protects the ball from defenders and delivers precise passes to her teammates near the basket. Her intimidating presence with her long outstretched arms often leads opponents to fumble the ball, making her a fierce force on defense. She always makes a couple steals in every game that leads to points for her team. Looking forward to her upcoming junior year at Brea O’linda high school.

Nataly, an eighth grader, remains remarkably composed under pressure. She takes control of the game like a pro which rivals that of high schoolers. Her ball handling skills are so advanced with consistent control and great fakes and perfect passes. She is excellent at driving and short range shots. Excited to see how she performs as she transitions to high school next season as a freshman.

Ava is a powerful eighth grader and she showed off her great strength and aggression this weekend. She handles her responsibilities with both passion and resilience! She excels in rebounding, setting screens and protecting the rim. She also is great at securing the ball and protecting it and then passing it up to her teammates. Can’t wait to see what this upcoming freshmen will do on her high school team.
