Jazlyn Rhodes (St Teresa’s): A silky smooth 5’9 guard who led St. Teresa’s to a Class 5 district championship. The talented young lefty can score on very fluid drives into the lane and she can also shoot the long ball. She’s a good athlete who plays the game at the pace she wants to play. She has a high basketball IQ to accompany her skill set. She can also stuff the stat sheet in multiple categories.
Shelby Redd (Skyline): A 5’4 guard who has been impressive in Skyline’s run to the Class 2 Final Four. The young lefty has a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range and she can also create. She scored 11 points in a victory over Tipton in the state semifinals.
Mary Ann Kenyon (Marquette): A versatile 5’11’ wing player who has helped the Mustangs to a 21-8 record and a district championship with her all-around play. She has good length and athleticism and she can also excel in the playmaker role with her passing and ball handling. She is averaging 8.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, four assists and two steals a game while also blocking 37 shots and making 25 3-pointers.
Ellie White (Doniphan): A 5’8 guard who played a big role in the Donettes tremendous 25-1 season. She has good athleticism and she excels on the defensive end with her high motor and good instincts. She is very disruptive with her high rate of activity. She is an excellent slasher on offense who can also knock down open 3-pointers.
Nyla Scales (Cardinal Ritter): A 5’3 point guard who has excellent speed and quickness. She is a blur in the open court and she can also hit the 3-pointer. She averaged seven points a game and shot 39 percent from 3-point range. She scored 12 points in Monday’s district championship game against John Burroughs.
Carlei Clubb (St Pius X): A 5’6″ guard who has been a key player in St. Pius’ run to the Final Four of the Class 3 state tournament. The young lefty has good speed and she goes a good job of keeping herself in the right position on defense. She is averaging nearly 10 points a game along with two assists and two steals.
Ellie Tiburzi Ellie Tiburzi 5'5" | PG Ursuline Academy | 2027 MO (Ursuline): A 5’4″ guard who made a strong impact with her perimeter shooting for Ursuline’s 24-5 team that won a district championship and qualified for the Class 4 quarterfinals. She is second on the team in scoring at eight points a game while shooting 37 percent from 3-point range on 44 made triples.
Nya Walker (Principia): A 5’5″ guard who has helped the Panthers earned a spot in the Class 2 state championship play with her steady play throughout the season. She is a solid ball handler who led the Panthers in assists this season. She is also capable of making an open 3-pointer.
Allison Greer and Olivia Schmersahl Olivia Schmersahl 5'4" Liberty | 2027 MO (Wentzville Liberty): Two more talented newbies from Liberty’s 18-9 season. Greer averaged 10 points a game and shot 41 percent from 3-point range. Schmersahl averaged eight points a game while making 38 3-pointers.
