Paris Barber is a nice force to have on the block. She can step in front of people trying to get to the basket blocking their shot or deflecting passes to grab the steal. She’s tough on the boards, too, cleaning up the glass on both ends of the court. Her ability to read the floor and determine the best path to the basket is fun to watch as she can drive to the hoop or make a move and score off the pass.
Madison Smith has the length and quickness that make her a defensive threat all over the court. She can block shots and passes in the paint, and she has a quick close out around the perimeter making sure opposing players don’t have easy shots from deep. On offense, she is constantly moving to get the open look. She has some nice spin moves that she can create open looks for her.
Kendal Beekman is another lengthy player who can position herself perfectly to be a nuisance on defense. She knows when to front an opponent or knock the ball away with her hands. On the other end, she is constantly moving flashing in the paint looking for the pass to score some points.
Highlights
Kennedi Hamner is a problem on the boards, especially on the offensive glass as she can clean them up scoring her points off of these second chances. She knows how to find the ball getting to the open areas being ready for the pass. Her ability to read her opponents on defense is fun to watch as she can jump in front of passes to grab the steal.
