Some players have had to wait their turn while others have improved their game. Some have already had success on the high school level – they have a lot of game and are just flying under the radar.
Angel Mclellan has a lot of game at the point guard position and will be a name to remember this summer. She does a good job of controlling the pace on offense and makes good decisions on her passes. McLellan does a good job on pick and roll and makes nice passes to the teammate rolling to the basket. McLellan has stood out even more on the defensive end. She puts great pressure on the ball and is quick enough to stay in front of the ball handler. She was so disruptive, the opponent had to set picks to get her off of the ball handler.
Anni Ament Anni Ament 5’10” | SF Beachside | 2026 State FL Ament is a versatile guard who can shoot the three ball off the catch, off the dribble, and off the step back. Lauren Lee Lauren Lee 6’2″ | PF River Ridge | 2025 State FL ran the floor and handled the ball well in transition. She had some nice pull-up threes and some nice euro step moves to the basket. Lee has great length and can attack the rim from the wing. She is also savvy at drawing fouls and getting to the freethrow line. She is a versatile offensive player who handled the ball well, and she made good decisions in the five-out offense.
Highlights

Campos can rebound with the best of them, especially on the offensive glass. She is extremely athletic and has a great vertical jump. Campus is also a solid defender who can defend on the wing and in the paint.
Mikayla Berry Mikayla Berry 5’11” | SF Sumner | 2025 FL is a versatile defender who can stay in front of quick guards and can play against forwards in the paint. She plays good on-ball defense and can create five second violations against ball handlers. Berry has good strength and doesn’t mind sticking her nose in the action. She also uses her quick hands to get deflections and creating turnovers.
J’siyah Taylor J’siyah Taylor 5’4″ | PG FL put the defense down and really got after the ball handler. On offense, she did a nice job of setting up the pick and roll and then delivering some nice passes to her big on the roll. Taylor has very good ball handling skills and is very athletic. Her game is predicated on her speed and quickness on the court.
Kimora Hester Kimora Hester 5’7″ | CG Andrew Jackson | 2025 State FL is a prospect who needs to be on your radar. She is athletic as they come as has one of the highest vertical jumps I’ve seen. Hester was impressive this past high school season, and was one of the biggest kept secrets in the Gateway city of Florida. Hester can get to the rim and score and can also shoot the midrange and the three point shot. She is a double double waiting to happen every time she touches the court.
