Two of their posts, Marlie Cox Marlie Cox 6'5" | C IDEA Donna | 2025 State TX was nursing a slight injury, and Nevaeh Jones Nevaeh Jones 6'2" | C Manor | 2025 State TX , a previous engagement weren’t available yet I got what I needed on Friday at the scrimmages and Saturday at the Tip Off Classic
Seitz is one of the toughest guards, wait, players in Texas and over the years she has received my Timex award because she takes a lick and keeps on ticking. Those licks are usually very hard, in fact one game in particular I thought she was done yet she came back a dropped a game winning 3. Her fearlessness is second to none and her being able to play the combo has attracted even more interest and with D1 offers on the table, she’s ready to put everything on display

Okola is arguably one of the most athletic players in Texas that can actually play. Yeah she has videos of her taking off and dunking, as well as pinning the ball in the square yet I’ll never forget Coach Myers asking me to stick around and watch this 7th grader that was going to be special and he was correct. There are NOT a lot of players around like her and being the recipient of alley-oops galore is part of it, another is her desire to get better and now she’s dropping it from mid to long-range which is why double digit D1’s , over 20, are on the table
Bruce became one of my favorite Bruces surpassing Lee and Wayne with her constantly adding to her game. She transformed from a “back to the basket” player that could score around the rim, hands and footwork played a part in that, to a player that could not only score “off the dribble” but drop the midrange. Yeah she hit the boards on both ends and runs the floor but her midrange game evolved and her 3 ball is looking good, so is her defense both in and outside the paint

Peiffer’s initials are KP and it fits because she “KEEPS POPPIN” the jumper from mid to long-range and in my opinion, has turned into one of the best shooters in Texas. When she gets into a zone, you can almost forget about yet when you run a zone, she can be a ZONEBUSTER but she also scores off the dribble and her court vision is good both in the set and in transition. I also have to commend her for her baseline to baseline pressure as the offers are coming in as I type

Cadence Williams
Cadence Williams
Williams falls into that “long and athletic” guard spot and her consistently showing how serviceable she is to this team has been fun for me because she fills in so many blanks. She can hit the big shot or make the big stop yet her midrange and off the dribble scoring in the flow fits. Another big plus is that she plays the passing lane and can handle the ball afterward. She also has nice timing on defense to block or alter shots
Zoey Miller
Zoey Miller
Miller had me thinking “Miller Time” on numerous occasions because she’s an athletic guard that uses her athleticism on both ends. Her tenacity on defense creates havoc and leads to turnovers yet on the flip, she shows more that “on the ball” pressure. During the Saturday event, she blew by defenders to score, even dropped the jumper on the baseline but like that BUNNY, she just keeps going HARD
Wormly captured my attention before high school as I knew she would be good because of her athleticism and DESIRE yet she has exceeded my expectations. She plays BIGGER than she is, like having to be the 5 in high school, yet watching her elevate off the ground to rebound, block shots and score off the alley-oop, she’s somewhat of an anomaly and can play all 5 positions. That jumper, mid to long-range as well as those acrobatic finishes tell me she has used the KEY to unlock multiple D1 offers
