I’ve been closely watching a number of these players over the last year or so and the tenacity, the IQ, and the teamwork hypes me up every time I catch them in action. I don’t know every single hooper here, so I’ll simply drop the whole roster below. Okay, let’s get right to it!
Point Guard Play:
This squad has 3-4 real deal point guards in 5’7 2026
Zoey McNabb

, 5’5 2026 Dieuna Beynnon, and 5’6 2026 Reese Gregory. Beynnon, McNabb and Locher all come with nice speed and agility, providing them the ability to press the ball full court and turn defense to offense. All four certainly have sound decision making skills, able to get the O rolling with crisp passing and smart distribution in transition or the halfcourt. McNabb has multi-level scoring touch and will adapt throughout the game, providing scoring and orchestration as needed.
Wing Play:
Chock full with a plethora of 2s and 3s, this team leans perimeter heavy. The 2 slot or combo-guard roles often sway between 5’6 2026 Brianna Bunnell, 5’6 2026 Addison Ely, and 5’7 2026 Ashtin Stearns. Bunnell and Ely come with nice chemistry as the hail from the same high school, each bringing a mental fortitude and tough defensive activity. Moreover, they’re both consistent catch-and-shoot players, move intuitively off the rock, and simply make plays as cutters and distributors with their quick reads. Stearns is a solid 2, providing gluey ball movement, smart off-ball action, and tightly knit team-defense. Then we have talents like 5’10 2026
Marlie Bushey

at the 3 position. Bushey brings multi-level scoring, a strong handle, and the versatility to rebound + defend 2-4 with her size and athleticism, she’s one to know. Kori defends multiple positions, using her agility on the perimeter and strength + hustle around the interior to defend the rim and rebound. Offensively, Rosa’s strengths lie in her screening and cutting activity, using that off-ball action to create advantages for herself + others. The slashing ability is there, and she’s flashed the jumper on occasion.
Interior Play:
The one true forward I know on this team is 5’10 2026 Emma Grimes Emma Grimes 5'10" | PF Rutland | 2026 State New E . She’s the energizer inside who holds it down, defending the paint with her strength, communication, and active hands. Grimes attacks rebounds instinctively on both ends, and she’s shown a handful of post moves and pivots which generate nice scoring opportunities inside. A solid pnr player too, Emma sets good screens and does what’s asked of her. Solid forward with good energy and an excellent teammate from what I can see.
Catch them at Gymrat June 8th-9th, or at the Hoop Group Upstate Jam Fest June 22nd-23rd in the Captial Area.
