Phenom Hoopfest 2029 Forwards

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the Class of 2029 forwards who caught our eye at Sunday's [program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] Hoopfest in Columbia.    A 6'1" forward who impressed me with her mobility and she was running the court at every opportunity, and she picked up a few layups with her hustle. She has good fundamentals inside as she kept the ball high on her offensive catches and rebounds. She also finished well around the basket with a nice shooting touch. She also had a strong presence on the defensive end with her height and length.     A 6'0" forward who did some very nice things at both ends of the court. I was impressed with her footwork inside and her ability to score in the low post. She was grabbing rebounds at its highest point and keeping the ball high, which was fundamentally sound. She was also very solid on the defensive end as blocked a number of shots while also using good positioning.     A 5'11" forward who is physically strong and did a good job of moving people around in the low post for position. She got good seals in the post and had a very effective drop step. She was also a very good passer from the high post. She was finding open cutters with some nice dimes.     A 6'0" forward who plays a physical game in the low post that is very effective. She does a good job of establishing her position inside and holding it. She's not afraid to move a few people around to get a little extra space. She catches the ball strong with two hands and she can score inside.     A 5'11" forward from Iowa who is an impact offensive player as a scorer and a passer. When she caught the ball at the high post, she could attack the basket well going in either direction for a bucket. She was also stepping out and hitting 3-pointers to stretch the defense. She was also a skilled ball handler in the open court.     A 6'0" forward from Kansas who was one of the most athletic players that I watched during the day. She was a pogo stick around the basket with a quick second and third jump on the boards. She was jumping over people to grab rebounds without making contact. She was also running the court in transition. She has a big upside for the future.     A 5'10" forward who is very skilled in the low post and on the perimeter. She set up good positioning on the weak side to get offensive rebounds and putbacks. She was backing down defenders off the dribble and getting buckets over the left shoulder. She was also a very good secondary ball handler against full court pressure.
