Stock Rising Forwards/Posts in the New 2026 Rankings

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri released its newly updated Class of 2026 rankings this week. Here is a look at some of the top stock risers at the forward position in the new rankings.    A 6'1" forward who has continued to grow and blossom into a Division I prospect, like her older sister Mia, who is a standout college player at Western Illinois. Her height and versatility makes her a tough cover. She made 72 3-pointers during her sophomore year. She is ideal on the pick and pop. She averaged 21 points and nine rebounds a game while blocking 53 shots to lead the Warriors to 20 victories and a berth in the district championship game.     A 6'2" forward who has continued to improve to become a force in the low post at both ends of the court. She is a stellar shot blocker who had nearly five swats a game. Her length and great timing enable her block shots without fouling. The lefty is also very effective in the post on the offensive end. She gets good positioning and he finishes well off the board off the catch. She averaged 11 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 64 percent from the field.     A 6'1" forward who helped the Wildcats make a strong run to a third-place finish in the Class 4 state tournament. She can play strong in the post, but she also has some finesse in her game. She has a very potent turnaround jumper over the left shoulder from out to 10-12 feet. She also runs the court well. She averaged 12 points and six rebounds while shooting 52 percent from the field.     A 5'10" forward who has continued to make big strides each year. She has a nice combination of physical strength and athleticism along with some good footwork around the basket. She more than holds her own against taller defenders inside and she has the foot speed to drive around them from the perimeter. She has also improved her shooting from the perimeter. She averaged eight points and six rebounds on a strong Ritter team that was one of the best in Class 5.     A versatile 6'1" forward who helped the Chiefs to a third-place finish in the Class 6 state tournament. She has a nice skill set as she can work on the perimeter as a ball handler and passer. She can also score around the basket with her height. She averaged 7.5 points and and five rebounds a game. She should step into an even bigger role as a senior next season.
