Wedgeworth is all go for [program_tooltip program_id='1219376' first='Tru' last='Colorado'] 13U. She is taller for the age group and she is already learning how to put that to great use. She is very mobile and is able to guard not only in the paint, but she can step out and help on the wings. Aryss can also defend in the full court to get traps and steals with her length. She has great vision for the ball coming off the rim and is efficient at grabbing rebounds on both ends of the court. On the offensive end Aryss is getting those boards and putting them back for points. She can score in the paint, from rebounds and she can get her own buckets. She isn't afraid to try moves on the block or to take a player off the dribble. And bonus points because it is always fun to see a taller player run the floor. Check out Wedgeworth with [program_tooltip program_id='1219376' first='Tru' last='Colorado'] 13U this summer and make sure to keep this one on your radar.

The Valley 13U team is full of some talented young ballers, Long is definitely one of them. She is all hustle on both ends of the court. On offense she is building great handles to take on full court pressure and to stay calm and keep her team organized in offensive sets. She has good court vision and the strength to get passes to her teammates where they need the ball. Rilynn can score as well. She has quickness to get by defenders and get all the way to the hoop. She is also learning when to stop for the jumper, she has really good 2pt range. Her 3pt range is right there too, Long can definitely hit the open three for her team. On defense, Long is in a stance and creating problems for dribblers and shooters. She is also great in help side against taller post players, swiping at the ball any chance she gets. Make sure Rilynn and The Valley 13U make your watchlist this summer.

Playing for CBC, Geona is another talent that is fun to watch. She is another bigger player for the age group and she is taking that strength and height and already using it to her advantage. Offensively, she is powerful. Whether she is running the middle of the floor or making a move in the paint; she can get to the basket, finish and even get to the free throw line. She is always looking to grab offensive rebounds for putbacks and she is really good at passing out of the paint for her age. White is equally talented on the defensive end. She can take position on the post from other paint players and she can help on smaller guards that have made it into the paint. Even look for her to be up in presses to get tips and steals. White is definitely a standout today, so watch out for her in the seasons to come.

Don't let the height fool you, Keyila might be little but she can get it done on the court. The PG already has good handles. She makes good decisions with the ball under full court pressure and in the half court. She sees the court well and can deliver on passes. Jenkins is embracing the PG role, but she isn't afraid to get her own buckets. She can get into the paint and battle among taller players for points and trips to the free throw line. Her shot from both 2pt and 3pt range are consistent, she puts up points for Box State Legacy 13U. On D, she is already becoming a lockdown defender. She can stay with dribblers in the full court and close out to shooters in the half court. And she will definitely take the ball right out of the hands of a post play who isn't paying attention. Get to know Jenkins this summer because she will be around for a long time.

The [program_tooltip program_id='714091' first='Lady' last='Roughriders'] always produce great teams and great players and Johnson is no different. She is already solid on offense, she has good handles with the ability to help guards in pressure and to keep the ball moving in an offensive flow. In her hands she can get a lot done. She sees her teammates well to make great passes and she can get points for herself as well. Samantha is strong playing with her back to the basket or from anywhere around the paint area, including hitting mid-range jumpers. On defense, she is quick and can help in full court traps to get steals and she applies pressure in the half court making opponents very uncomfortable. Add Samantha to your players to pay attention to.
