Rising Talent at ZG Coaches VS Cancer in MA

Some young talent and rising stars are in the mix. These girls were the clear standouts over the weekend. When the ball is in her hands in the paint it is a sure basket. Watching her work under the basket is so entertaining, her footwork is just unmatched. Being just an 8th grader and playing up on a 9th Grade team and making a real impact on the game. Her ability to draw the foul is top tier and over the&nbsp;weekend she was at the stripe multiple times each game. Playing not one but two grades up! And not even showing one ounce of worry. She was able to score multiple game changing baskets. Her drive to the basket is fierce but her step back is lethal. I am not sure I have seen a guard&nbsp;with such confidence at such a young age. Her IQ of the game is her greatest strength on the court. She is able to find her teammates for easy buckets and can also take the ball to the rack. She plays every position on the court so well and with ease. Watching her work this weekend was beyond fun. She can bring the ball up the court and drive to the basket or she can post up and show off her footwork. Not only can she score under the basket but she can shoot from range...and I mean range. She moves quick with the ball and has a jumper that is almost perfect. The midrange game is something not many young players focus on. Clea has the ability to score that mid range shot and make it look easy. Watching her play this weekend you knew two things. She was gonna shoot and she was going to get those cookies. Clea ends almost every game with 10 steals minimum. This kid has potential.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This young group really showed their skills this past weekend. Anyone that walked into the gym to watch them play would only assume they have been playing for a long time. Needless to say there is some Rising Talent in this incoming 9th grade class and I am excited to watch them.
