Here’s a Look at the Ozark Mountain Conference

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops Missouri is going to take a look at some of the conferences around the state. The Ozark Mountain Conference is an excellent league in the SWMO area. Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield and West Plains tied for the league title last season and all three teams are loaded once again.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>THE STARTING FIVE</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='466067' first='Hailey' last='Buckman'] (Logan-Rogersville): A versatile 6'0 2026 wing player who has been an impact player since her freshman season. She entered high school as a perimeter sharpshooter, but she is now an all-around offensive weapon from all three levels. As a junior, she averaged 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in leading the Wildcats to a third place finish in the Class 4 state tournament. She has given a commitment to SEMO.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='803072' first='Peyton' last='Ward'] (Marshfield): A 6'2 2027 forward who is a matchup problem for opposing defenders with her height and versatile skill set. She handles the ball well and she can also shoot it from the perimeter. As a sophomore, she averaged 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists. She has already given a commitment to Lindenwood University.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='954858' first='Gillian' last='Green'] (West Plains): A 6'0 2028 forward who is one of the state's most skilled young frontcourt players. She has the height and physical strength to put in work in the low post. She also has an excellent perimeter skill set. She can score from all three levels and she can also create her own shot off the dribble to score. As a freshman, she averaged 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals. She was the Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Class 5 Co-Freshman of the Year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='999522' first='Ainsley' last='McWilliams'] (West Plains): The 5'6 2028 point guard shared the Prep Girls Hoops Class 5 Co-Freshman of the Year award with her teammate [player_tooltip player_id='954858' first='Gillian' last='Green']. She has excellent speed and quickness and she can shoot it from 3-points range. She averaged 11 points, three rebounds and three assists last season. She already has a Division l offer from Chicago State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='722134' first='Quinn' last='Aldridge'] (Marshfield): A 5'9 2026 guard who begins her fourth year of varsity duty for the Jays. She has a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range, where she can hit perimeter shots off the catch, coming off screens and off the dribble.
