Fillmore Central is going to try to look forward towards the future as they come into the 2025-2026 high school. Last Winter the Panthers didn't have the season they would have liked but they will return some of their main producers and they are ready to give it another go. Someone that gets their number called a lot for this group is PG/SG - [player_tooltip player_id='1448709' first='Ali' last='Nichols']. Nichols will return this season after averaging 7 PPG, 6 RPG, & 2 APG as a Sophomore. She will look to prove that she has built onto her game over the past few months in the off-season and that she can lead from the PG position. It seems that Nichols was more of a score-first type PG last season but we will see what she can put together over the next six months. If she can find others at a high rate, she will become even harder to stop.

[player_tooltip player_id='998748' first='Lillie' last='Kriz'] should be a force to handle this Winter for her Senior season. Kriz returns as the team's SF in the middle for East Butler. In the past this is someone that has built an impressive foundation out on the hardwood. Last Winter as a Junior Kriz recorded 13 double-doubles (Pts-Rbs) in 23 games and she should be able to do the same, if not better this Winter. With the size that Kriz has and her coordination, she is a mismatch in her conference and that should fair well for her in the grand scheme of things.

[player_tooltip player_id='1448715' first='Ryan' last='Eilers'] would be considered a "glue" player for Arthur Country High School. Eilers fills up the stat sheet with her effort. She isn't afraid to box out and crash the boards hard, she creates tips and deflections in the boat loads against lazy ball handers which turn into steals, and she is always one of the first of the floor of a loose ball when the opportunity presents itself. Eilers will be a Senior leader that this team can rely on this Winter. If they work hard and Eilers leads by example, they should win a few contests before you know it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1448724' first='Korrine' last='Moes'] of Osmond High School made it her mission to get to the free throw stripe last Winter as a Freshman. Throughout her 25 game season Moes got to the line 6 times a contest, making 4 of those attempts. Moes also showed up in the rebounding department with her high energy and active hands going towards the rim on both sides of the ball throughout the season. This is someone that if she stays hungry and she works on the correct things, she should put together some impressive stat lines over her career. She just needs to keep working on the small things. She is obviously not afraid of contact or sacrificing her body for the good of the team and that could take her places at the end of the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='1449050' first='Kyra' last='Tubbs'] of Stuart High School averaged 9 PPG last Winter as a Freshman while shooting the ball at a 33% clip from behind the three point line. Tubbs would be considered a sniper off the catch from the outside. She really likes to take most of her shots from there but she can dribble it and get to a more favorable position if the defense over-plays her. I am hoping that this is someone that has built onto her game this past few months prior to the season. If she has, we will notice right away as she will stand out more in other positive statistical categories. Either way, Tubbs is only a Sophomore so there is a good amount of time to continue to work. There is no doubt about that.
