The New Year is here, and with it comes the second half of the girls' basketball season in Wisconsin. Today, we're examining a few players who could have a significant impact on their programs' conference season and potentially a postseason run. That said, let's highlight some names to know for the second half of the 2025-26 season to start the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1307706' first='Tenley' last='Neal']

The Kettle Moraine Lasers are a guard-oriented unit, and they have little to no size in their frontcourt. However, Neal is an athletic guard who adds much-needed physicality to any lineup she plays in for the Lasers. In their games at the Hartford Holiday event, Neal was the player who found her way to crucial rebounds to help her team get back into the game. She has a high ceiling for what she does, and could be a player who helps swing games late in the season.

Teigan Stuve

Germantown is a unique program that has its own style of basketball. They're five-in-five-out subbing pattern limits the minutes for any of their players, but it allows them to play at 100 miles per hour when they're on the floor. Stuve is one of the few players who can attack off the dribble and break down defenses offensively. Even though she didn't score against Hartford and fouled out, she was able to make the Orioles bend defensively, which generated open perimeter looks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1099058' first='Ava' last='Dotson']

Grafton is a team that will have the opportunity to make a run in the postseason. They have a solid group of players who can compete with anyone on their best day. However, Dotson may be the player who can swing games. The junior guard/wing is an athletic player who can make plays on either end of the floor and use her athleticism to create quick transition opportunities. In a world where the Black Hawks make a deep postseason run, Dotson will have to play at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='992482' first='Allie' last='Neuenfeldt']

De Pere recently earned a prominent non-conference win against Hartford, and Neuenfeldt was a significant reason the Red Birds came out with a win in Washington County. Neuenfeldt is an athletic wing who can play through contact and has provided some physicality around the basket. She has been one of the better rebounders and finishers around the basket in her sophomore season in the Green Bay area. She will create mismatches against anyone.
