2026 District 15AA Semi-Finals: Forwards

I'm really sad. I can't believe High School Basketball is almost over.

I went to MASE to check out the District 15AA Semi-Final matchups between Trezevent/East and Memphis Business Academy (MBA)/Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (MASE).

This gave me an opportunity to watch East, MBA and Trezevant again. This was my first time seeing MASE.

On next Tuesday, East and MBA will play for the Championship and MASE and Trezevant will play the Consolation Game.

Here are evaluations on some Forwards and Defenders:

Active Rebounder. The junior was undersized in the post. However, it didn't matter. Every time the ball was shot, she had a chance of getting her hand on that ball. Active rebounder is an understatement. She has a very good understanding of following the ball and knowing where it will be when it comes off the rim.

Athletic Hustler. I saw the junior play back in November and didn't realize how athletic she was. She has a long slim frame and with long arms. When it's necessary for her to really jump, she gets up very high. She showed that tonight along with her shot blocking ability. She also showed that she can defend on the perimeter and knock down the high post shot.

Tough Rebounding Forward.

These next two players didn't play in the post.
