[player_tooltip player_id='1259084' first='Anna' last='Marsh'] had a really nice day for South County. Early in this game, Anna did a great job getting to the rim, and she started the scoring off with a tough and 1 drive. Anna's off-ball movement was excellent and was the recipient of some nice passes. Credit to Anna for understanding the holes in a Woodson defense that ran a lot of zone. Credit to the South County guards for consistently keeping their heads up to find open teammates as well. Anna had a nice pull-up in transition, and she also battled in the paint with a bigger Woodson squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='675370' first='Adriana' last='Mayorga'] was outstanding in handling the ball for South County. I talked about how good the South County guards were at facilitating when going downhill, and Adriana was the best example of this. Adriana constantly made the right decision when she got in the paint, and she had a handful of nice finishes. One of them was a beautiful hop step where she hit a tough floater over a bigger defender. Her on-ball defense was terrific, which can be said for this whole South County squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251857' first='London' last='Augustin']'s ability to get downhill was by far Robinson's best offense. London's strength and athleticism made it hard to keep her out of the lane, and I loved how fearless she was driving into bodies. She got to the line multiple times, and West Potomac had issues dealing with her when she had any type of space. London knocked down a few threes, and her shot creation as both a jump shooter and slasher was fun to watch

[player_tooltip player_id='1251838' first='Dawn' last='Houston'] has been the catalyst for West Potomac this season. Dawn's ball handling and consistent ability to get downhill are huge. Dawn is probably the best shot creator on this team, and she got that part of her game going in the 3rd quarter. She iced this game with a handful of free throws late.

[player_tooltip player_id='743471' first='Lina' last='Hashimi']'s ability to put the ball on the floor at her size caused some real issues for Robinson. She had a few nice takes, and I loved what she did protecting the paint. She showed great hands swiping down on drives when players beat her, and she did some good work on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='1049934' first='Delores' last='Harkless'] is an excellent defender, and she was the person I felt had the most success guarding [player_tooltip player_id='1251857' first='London' last='Augustin'] 1v1. Delores had a few plays where she picked her opponent's pocket and turned it into an easy lay-in. She knocked down a few threes, and her scoring 7 straight in the 4th was what helped West Potomac pull away in a game that was close most of it.
