There is nothing I love more than having NON-ERRONEOUS information beforehand, because I don't have time to run around and find out who is who, and the time wasted doing that takes me away from observing players. I first wrote in 2009 when I went solo on this writing/evaluation thing, yet the same problem remains over 15 years later, but for some reason, I've mellowed a bit, and I truly appreciate those who follow SIMple instructions, here ya go

McMurry is the name I kept hearing from afar while I was on another court, and after seeing her play, I see why her last name is already carrying weight. She's a "long and athletic" guard who can handle the ball under pressure in transition, going full speed, yet in the set, her first step, coupled with nice body control, sets the stage for acrobatic finishes after contact. Her defense was solid, as was her court vision, and she played the passing lane

Lang is also a "long and athletic" guard who does a good job creating her shot and knocking it down while being defended. She also attacked and scored from multiple spots and showed good body control on her finishes

Williams was yet another "long and athletic" guard who had no problem blowing by the defender. Her "stop and pop" jumper in transition looked good, she saw the floor and played good defense, which includes playing the passing lane

Mathew is technically not a new player, nor even in the class of 2030, and on my initial Tip Sheet, see evaluation here, my exact words were "she is ahead of the game," and please remember I'm not a novice. Her upside looks good, why, because she does things instinctively, she reacts well and makes good decisions under pressure, and isn't fazed by playing up. Her jumper was smooth, and she also got to the basket with ease, using her crossover

Noel sings a different tune because she's "long and athletic," which is the base, and she uses her athleticism on both ends. She elevates around the basket to score and rebound. She also showed good timing to block shots, but her defense inside and outside the paint looked good, and she played the passing lane

Soileau understands how to use her frame on both ends to either score or rebound, and seeing her battle for loose balls was a big plus. She also made solid passes from the high post and did a good job defensively

Santos caught my eye from afar playing in the 14U division, so I'm assuming she's a 2030. She was another, you guessed it, "long and athletic" guard who scored off the dribble, saw the floor, and created her shot, but her ability to " catch and shoot" with a hand in her face had me smiling
