A Way too Early Look at Class 1 Teams to Watch in 2027

With that in mind, Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at its Way Too Early look at some Class 1 teams to watch in 2027.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rock Port: The Blue Jays have made back to back trips to the Final Four and they are still a pretty young team. They have a potential Player of the Year in 2028 guard [player_tooltip player_id='899088' first='Audrie' last='Meyerkorth'] and a pair of talented 2029s in guard [player_tooltip player_id='1616234' first='Leah' last='Meyerkorth'] and forward Stevie Gaines.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Delta: The Bobcats got back in the Final Four mix as they advanced to the state championship game this season. They have a very talented backcourt with 2029 All-State performer Lilli McDonough and 2028 shooting guard Raelin Nannery.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cairo: The Lady Bearcats have been to the Final Four for three consecutive years and they should field another strong team in 2027. Elly Jaecques is a strong 2028 forward while guards [player_tooltip player_id='1053876' first='Chloe' last='Brumley'], [player_tooltip player_id='1243477' first='Eva' last='Jaecques'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1243476' first='Tinley' last='Jaecques'] are all very talented.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chadwick: The Cardinals followed up a championship season with 24 wins and another district championship.
