This was no ordinary 2A league this past winter. The top two teams, Deer Park and Clarkston, finished 11-1 in league play and had 20-plus wins overall. Both teams were also selected as top-five seeds in the 2A state tournament, with Deer Park earning the 2-seed, and Clarkston earning the fourth. While each team ended up getting knocked off course by the eventual champs, Lynden, they also rebounded to finish out the year as top-five finishers (Deer Park 4th-place, Clarkston 5th-place).

Those two 2A Greater Spokane League heavyweights each had two players recognized among the top six spots in the all-league honors, including the MVP, [player_tooltip player_id='928125' first='Ashlan' last='Bryant']. While Deer Park earned three all-league spots overall, and Clarkston earned four, the only other team with multiple selections was Pullman, with first-teamer [player_tooltip player_id='830004' first='River' last='Sykes'] and second-teamer [player_tooltip player_id='880080' first='Grace' last='Kuhle'].

The vast majority of the 12 selections went to senior athletes. In fact, only three spots went to underclassmen ([player_tooltip player_id='928125' first='Ashlan' last='Bryant'] - Deer Park, Joslyn McCormack-Marks - Clarkston, Arkayla Brown - North Central). So get ready for a lot of new faces and names occupying these spots next season, while the previously mentioned trio returns as prominent figures in the 2A Greater Spokane League once again.
