The spring AAU season always creates movement in the 2027 rankings, and this year's group of shooting guards across Indiana brought plenty of production, confidence, and versatility to the floor. Several guards used the travel season to prove they can impact games in multiple ways while showing continued growth against high-level competition. Whether it was shot-making, toughness, defensive intensity, or improved playmaking, these players consistently stood out throughout the spring evaluation period.

Here are six 2027 shooting guards who have helped their stock tremendously this AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='751079' first='Ja'Nyiah' last='Rogers'] had one of the more impressive spring performances among Indiana guards because of the intensity and energy she brings every time she steps on the floor. Rogers is a physical, aggressive guard that attacks downhill and embraces contact around the basket. She consistently pressured defenses in transition and showed the ability to score while playing at a fast pace.

Her toughness and defensive presence were major factors throughout the AAU season. Rogers competes hard on both ends, creates turnovers, and impacts the game beyond scoring. Offensively, she continues to improve as a shot creator and perimeter scorer, which adds another dimension to her game. She plays with confidence and doesn't shy away from big moments. Her production and competitiveness this spring certainly helped establish herself as one of the more underrated shooting guards in the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275573' first='Grace' last='Detweiler'] quietly put together a very productive spring and continues to prove she belongs in conversations with some of the better shooters in the state's 2027 class. Detweiler's ability to stretch the floor immediately stands out. She shoots the ball with confidence from the perimeter and understands how to move without the basketball to create scoring opportunities.

What makes her game even more valuable is her basketball IQ and willingness to play within the flow of the offense. She makes smart reads, moves the ball well, and consistently makes winning plays. Defensively, she competes and positions herself well, helping her team in multiple areas beyond scoring. As she continues to add strength and expand her offensive game, Detweiler has the tools to continue climbing in the rankings after a strong spring showing.

[player_tooltip player_id='751040' first='Arianna' last='Harrington'] continues to establish herself as one of the toughest and most competitive guards in the 2027 class. Every time she steps on the floor, she brings intensity and confidence that immediately impacts the game. Harrington plays with an aggressive mindset offensively and does a great job of attacking defenders while also being able to score from the perimeter.

One of the biggest improvements in her game this spring was her ability to consistently create offense under pressure. She handled physical defensive matchups well and continued to produce against quality competition. Harrington also showed strong defensive instincts, using her energy and effort to disrupt opposing guards. Her combination of toughness, scoring ability, and motor makes her a player college coaches should continue tracking closely moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='834961' first='MacKenzie' last='Pierce'] had a very solid spring AAU season and continued proving she can impact games as a scoring guard with size and skill. Pierce has the ability to score at all three levels and looked more confident offensively throughout the evaluation period. She did a great job attacking gaps, finishing through contact, and knocking down perimeter shots when defenses collapsed.

Her versatility stood out this spring because she can play both on and off the ball effectively. Pierce showed improved patience as a decision-maker and consistently made smart reads in transition and half-court sets. Defensively, she competed with effort and used her length well around the perimeter. With continued development, Pierce has the potential to become one of the more complete guards in Indiana's 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1006203' first='Aubree' last='Warfel'] made a strong statement this spring with her ability to score and control the pace offensively. Warfel is a skilled shooting guard who can really stretch defenses with her perimeter shooting, but she also showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and create offense for herself and teammates. Her confidence offensively was noticeable throughout the AAU season.

She consistently played with composure and made winning plays in key moments. Warfel also displayed improved defensive effort and toughness against quality competition. What makes her intriguing long-term is her balance between scoring ability and overall feel for the game. She understands spacing, moves well without the basketball, and competes every possession. After her spring performances, she is another 2027 guard making a strong push to move up the rankings heading into the next evaluation period.

[player_tooltip player_id='751100' first='Madalynn' last='Warnock'] continues to show why she is one of the more reliable scoring guards in the 2027 class. Throughout the spring, she consistently played with confidence offensively and proved she can score the basketball from multiple levels. Warnock has a smooth perimeter shot and does a good job of creating space to get clean looks off the catch or dribble. When she gets into rhythm early, she becomes difficult to slow down because of her ability to knock down shots in bunches.

What stood out most this spring was her overall poise and maturity on the court. She looked comfortable competing against strong competition and showed improved decision-making with the basketball. Warnock also competed defensively and played with a high motor throughout games. Her offensive skillset combined with her continued development as a complete guard makes her a player who deserves strong consideration for a rankings jump heading into the summer.
