Jo Trombley is a player that I expect to burst onto the Adirondack League scene next season as a junior. Trombley is spending the spring playing for the NE Revolt AAU program with many players from larger Capital Region schools. Trombley is an outstanding defender with superb anticipation skills. Her long arms disrupt the opposition's offense. She runs the floor well and finishes in transition. Trombley is an excellent 3-point shooter and can also score in the lane. She can rebound and score on put-backs.

MaKenzie McKernon really started to show her talent this year, especially late in the season. McKernon is a strong physical post player with significant upside. When McKernon catches the ball on the block, she makes a very quick spin move to the middle of the lane and has a solid drop step in her arsenal. She has very good footwork. McKernon is a workhorse on the boards, always working hard to secure rebounds. She also has a soft shooting touch around the lane and can step out to the key to knock down shots as well. I expect McKernon to continue to improve as a senior in 2026-2027.

Heather Pita was a point guard on a Corinth team that advanced to the Section 2 Class B finals. Only a sophomore, I expect Pita to have a greater impact in 2026-2027. Pita is a very good ballhandler. She distributes the ball well to teammates and has a high basketball IQ. Even though she didn't need to score much with all of the weapons the Riverhawks had, Pita is certainly capable. She is a very good 3-point shooter and can score off the dribble. Pita has quick feet and is a scrappy defender. Her stock will rise next winter in her junior campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='1827170' first='Brooklynn' last='Hatton'] is a dynamic natural athlete who excels on the hardwood and the soccer pitch. With Whitehall graduating their entire starting unit, I predict Hatton will explode onto the scene next season. Hatton is a very smooth shooter. She is especially productive in the midrange, but is capable of stepping out beyond the arc. Hatton has a lightning-quick first step and is fearless when driving to the basket. Whitehall's calling card is their defense, and Hatton is a perfect example of their commitment on that end of the floor. She runs the floor well and can finish in transition.

McKenna Brennan was a member of a talented Lake George team this season as a 7th grader. Although her impact was limited, the challenge of playing at a higher level was beneficial for Brennan. Height can't be taught, and at 5'10" at such a young age, Brennan is still growing. Brennan is a very solid rebounder who scores on putbacks in the paint. She has a soft touch in the lane and can step out and knock down shots away from the basket. Brennan's length and wingspan could make her a dominant defender and shot blocker. With her 6'0" sophomore sister Madyson next to her for the next couple of seasons, opponents will have a difficult time scoring inside against the Lakers.

Lylah Dishon is a rising freshman with a ton of upside. This was her second year on the Corinth varsity, and she played a key role in the Riverhawks' run to the Class B Section 2 championship game. Dishon is a strong ballhandler who can play the point or the two guard. She is an outstanding 3-point shooter. Dishon ranked second in 3-pointers made and attempted, and was the fourth-leading scorer for the Riverhawks. Dishon is a solid on-the-ball defender with quick hands and feet. She sees the floor well and is an excellent passer. Dishon is honing her skills this spring with the Foothills Flash AAU program and should be a player to keep an eye on in her sophomore year.
