Chaos in Colorado: X-Factors That Made an Impact Saturday

Saturday at the Chaos in Colorado tournament featured plenty of players stepping into major roles for their teams. Some impacted the game with defensive energy, others with versatility, playmaking, or timely scoring, but all of them proved why they are valuable X-factors capable of changing the flow of a game. These players consistently made winning plays and helped elevate their teams throughout the day.    Isabella made her impact felt with the way she pressured the ball. Her speed and quickness allowed her to force turnovers in the backcourt without fouling while also making life difficult for opposing guards all game long. Offensively, she rebounded well for a smaller guard, pushed the pace in transition, attacked the rim and finish through traffic.     Mariah's versatility is what makes her such a dangerous factor for her team. She is capable of guarding positions one through four at any point during the game giving her team flexibility defensively because there are very few matchups she cannot handle. On the offensive side, she knocked down timely three-pointers that helped spark the offense and shift momentum when her team needed it.     Olivia had her handle on display with the way she created offense. She did a great job creating for herself off the dribble, attacking the rim, and handling pressure in the backcourt while keeping the offense organized. Along with her offensive production, she brought constant energy defensively by being pesky on the ball and creating disruption throughout the game.     Aubrey showed how valuable she is because of how many different roles she can fill. Throughout the day she wore multiple hats whether it was scoring in transition, making plays in the half court or stepping up defensively. Her ability to switch between roles and impact the game in different ways makes her a player every team needs.     Sophia continued to show why she is such a difficult matchup with the pieces surrounding her on the floor. Her skill set allows her to dominate on the low block and in the high post and with teams unable to help off other players she founds herself in one-on-one situations. She also applied pressure in transition by grabbing rebounds and pushing the ball herself, whether she was taking it coast-to-coast or finding open shooters on the perimeter.
