<p>The tournament, hosted by Clinton County, opened with Monroe County setting the tone early. The Lady Falcons came out focused and ready, knocking off Metcalfe County 70-47. Their defensive pressure and ability to control the tempo proved to be the difference as they dictated the pace from start to finish and showed they were a serious contender for the title.</p>

Morgan has been one of Cumberland County's most dependable veterans all season, averaging 10.4 points per game while shooting 51% from the field, 48% from three-point range, and over 85% from the free throw line. She also contributed 5.4 rebounds per game and has been a player the Lady Panthers have leaned on in big moments because of her ability to knock down shots and stay composed under pressure.</p>

<p>Junior [player_tooltip player_id='913403' first='Madi' last='Cooksey'] added 11 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds. Cooksey led the team in scoring this season at 13.8 points per game while shooting 48% from the floor and over 81% from the free throw line. She also led the team with 7.4 rebounds per game and has been the motor for Cumberland County all year, bringing physical play inside and consistent production every night.</p>

Willen has been one of the top perimeter threats in the region all season, averaging 11.6 points per game and knocking down a team-high 71 three-pointers. As a proven winner and standout multi-sport athlete, her competitive nature, defensive presence and ability to stretch the floor made her one of the toughest matchups in the area all season long.</p>

She has developed into one of the most complete players in the district, with the ability to score inside, rebound, and play through contact.</p>

Hawkins averaged 6.3 points per game this season and was one of Monroe County's top rebounders at six per contest.
