<p>Prep Girls Hoops Missouri released its newly updated Class of 2027 rankings this week. Here is a look at a group of of forwards who are stock risers in the newly updated rankings.</p>

<p>La'Niya Carriger (St Joe Lafayette): A 6'4" forward who has improved every season where she has emerged as one of the top frontcourt players in the state. From the moment she entered high school, she was always a dominant shot blocker. She uses her height and length to get swats without fouling. Her offensive game as continued to emerge with each year. She is a capable threat in the low post with her height and she can also step out and hit 3-pointers off the catch.</p>

<p>Rian Lenox (Lift for Life): A 5'10" power forward who is a double-double machine who helped the Hawks to a Class 5 state championship, the third in succession. She is a hard-working player who uses her strength and tenacity to rebound the ball as well as anybody. She will also get out of her area to grab boards. She also improved her offensive game around the basket. She finishes well inside and she can also drive it from the high post with strength. As a junior, she averaged 10.7 points and 11 rebounds a game while shooting nearly 50 percent from the field. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='967222' first='Libby' last='O'Donnell'] (Incarnate Word): A 6'0" forward who was a valuable reserve forward for the Red Knights, who won another Class 6 state championship. She is a physical player who is physically strong and plays with a lot of effort. She has a soft shooting touch around the basket and she can also pass it well. She has received numerous offers from schools such as UMSL, Ottawa and Webster U.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='777632' first='Stella' last='Shumate'] (Pembroke Hill): A 6'2" forward who was an All-District selection and a strong junior season. She does a good job of using her height and strength to establish her position in the low post. She is a scoring threat inside and she can also pass it out of the post when she sees a double team. As a junior, she averaged 10 points, eight rebounds and a block per game. She is playing with the [program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 17U EYC during the grassroots season.</p>

<p>Henslie Higginbotham (Linn): A 5'10" forward from Mid-Missouri who is a versatile talent who excels in the low post and on the perimeter. She has good moves inside and she can score with a nice shooting touch. She also works well in the high post with her ability to pass the ball or hit the 15 footer.</p>
