The two teams that reached the finals, Cap City and the Albany Herricanes, featured several talented prospects. Tellstone is a very good 3-point shooter. Her range is impressive as she often knocks down shots from several feet behind the arc. Tellstone is a phenomenal defender who can lock down an opponent. She is a very good ballhandler with solid court vision. Drake comes to the Cap City Scappers from Mount Greylock in Massachusetts. Drake is a very complete player as a sophomore. She is a talented ballhandler with outstanding moves off the dribble. Drake is a consistent finisher with either hand. She has a very smooth shooting touch and can connect from every spot on the floor. She is a fierce on-the-ball defender who gives opposing players fits. Parks is a very talented player with a variety of skills. She moves extremely well without the ball. Parks runs the floor well. She has solid footwork and the post and is a consistent finisher in the paint. Parks can also step out and knock down the 3-point shot. Conboy impacts winning at both ends of the floor. She is a tenacious defender who plays with a high-level motor. Conboy is a very good 3-point shooter. She is a strong ballhandler and can beat defenders off the dribble. Wood ran the point for Holy Names during the high school season. Wood is a three-level scorer. She has an explosive first step and can finish from both the right and left sides, and has a productive floater in her bag of tricks. Wood can connect from behind the three-point arc, both off the dribble and the catch.
