Known for its majestic views, trails, and other outdoor activities, this area has become a place where various talents have blossomed. From the music scene to other industries, this area has seen its share of people come through. Now, women's basketball is thriving in the city across both private and public school divisions.   From within the city and surrounding counties, this area has cultivated a unique basketball landscape for years. You have talent competing at various colleges at all levels. You've had WNBA players come from the area. There has been a run of championship programs from around his area. Programs, year in and year out, compete for the opportunity to raise the gold.   As we take a look at some of these talented individuals in the 423 (and newly created 729) area codes, we not only uncover some newfound talent but also some big-time names expected to land at P4 schools. Without further ado, here is part one of the introduction to prospects from the Chattanooga area.    Nicknamed “MoMo,” this kid is an absolute dog on the basketball court. She is going to give you fits one way or another. This talented kid has been terrorizing the hardwood for years. Putting up crazy numbers not only in TSSAA, but in the independent league as well. Power 4 schools have been clamoring for her commitment. She will land somewhere and be a great get for a program. She's a 3-level scoring threat that can break ankles or let it fly from deep. A special talent that is no stranger to the bottom of the net. From scoring on various levels to contributing on the defensive end, she's an impactful player who means business.     Such a tremendous ballplayer that is a difference maker. A high-energy kid, she creates chaos on both ends of the floor. No matter the setting, she is going to get after it. On the defensive end, she is going to make you work 94ft. She strikes quickly, poking loose balls away and coming up with steals. She gets a lot of transition buckets. She's a dynamic guard who can change speed at the drop of a dime. She can get to the rim, stop and pop from the mid-range, and shoot the 3-ball at a high clip. This young lady has P4 school wanting her commitment. Look for her to have a sensational season, leading her club deep into the tournament and picking up even more accolades along the way.     Shifty guard who jumped on the scene just below Signal Mountain. She has now been spotted, and the light is shining brightly on this career; this special talent is starting to come together. A kid who is dominant on both sides of the ball, she plays the game with such joy as she terrorizes opponents. She's a lockdown defender who gets steals by the boatload. Offensively, she is always in attack mode, looking to exploit an opponent's weakness. From knocking down 3s to getting to the rim, she's going to leave her stamp and impact the game in multiple ways. People are just now seeing this special talent. Her time is now, and be on the lookout as schools near and far will be double-checking their list as they see this kid.     Versatile. Silky smooth. This young lady uses her size and length to create havoc. She can body you up inside or attack you from the perimeter. She is a heady ballplayer who can exploit a team's weakness and take advantage of her defender. Blessed with quickness, she can change pace in an instant, scoring in the painted area, but also dropping a mean mid-range jumper. She is smooth from the arc, where her 3-ball swishes the net. She isn't a one-trick pony; she's going to do her thing on the defensive end as well. Get steals, be on the board, block shots, she's one of the top two-way players in her class. She has tremendous upside, and this special talent is about to shine brighter and burst through onto the scene. Keep your eyes on this young lady because she is about to make a lot of noise on multiple fronts this upcoming year.     She's a freight train coming, and there's no stopping her. She may be young, but this kid is as fearless as they come. Already receiving multiple offers from P4 schools, she's been nothing but a menace on the basketball floor. Displaying crazy handles, playing physical, utilizing her speed and quickness, she has been running circles around opponents. She's always in attack mode on both sides of the ball. From getting steals that lead to easy buckets going the other way to snatching ankles and using her frame to finish around the rim, this kid creates havoc on both ends of the floor. She gets buckets from all 3 levels and is impactful every time she steps onto the floor. This special talent is going to have some crazy numbers before it's all said and done.
