Incoming Juniors Ready to Step up

She plays great defense, staying in front of opposing players nicely and being able to get her hands in the passing lanes. She utilizes her retreat dribble to escape double teams nicely. She can dribble with both hands to get by defenders, getting to the bucket to finish in the paint. She received honorable mention in her conference last year, being an impact player for her team on both ends. She plays 110% on the court always sprinting to her spots. Bates has a great jump shot, being able to knock down mid-range shots and even long range shots with ease and confidently.
