[player_tooltip player_id='947785' first='Hailey' last='Hurst'] made sure everyone in the gym knew her name at LSU Team Camp. The 6-foot Class of 2028 standout brought a powerful combination of size, physicality, athleticism, and nonstop effort, establishing herself as one of the event's most impressive prospects.

Hurst already possesses a college-ready frame and uses it to punish opponents around the basket. She attacked the paint aggressively, absorbed contact, and consistently created scoring opportunities with her strength and determination. Her ability to handle the ball also allowed her to attack from the perimeter, giving defenders another problem to solve.

Without the ball, Hurst was just as dangerous. She cut hard to open spaces, found gaps in the defense, and created easy scoring chances by staying active. Her vertical athleticism and “go get it” mentality were on full display as she battled above the rim, pursued rebounds, and competed for every loose possession.

Defensively, Hurst provided a physical presence in the lane. She protected the rim, challenged shots, moved well for her size, and showed the toughness needed to defend multiple frontcourt matchups. She played with energy, stayed engaged, and consistently made her presence felt on both ends of the floor.

Her production outside of team camp has also backed up the talent. Hurst previously delivered a dominant 18-point, 20-rebound, four-steal performance in a University Lab semifinal victory, showcasing the same relentless motor and ability to take over the interior that she displayed at LSU.

Hurst did not simply attend LSU Team Camp—she showed up, showed out, and made a major statement. With her college-ready physical tools, defensive impact, rebounding ability, and rapidly developing offensive game, she is a high-upside 2028 prospect whose stock should continue to rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='980297' first='Paris' last='Palacio'] gave a little bit of everything at LSU Team Camp. Instead of forcing the action, the 5-foot-6 guard played with patience, control, and a clear understanding of how to create the shot she wanted. She stayed composed with the ball, allowed screens to develop, and consistently worked her way into clean mid-range opportunities.

Her shooting was one of the biggest highlights of the day. Palacio showed confidence stepping into shots well beyond the three-point line and also created separation with smooth step-backs. Defenders had to respect her range, which opened the floor and allowed her to attack closeouts. When she drove the lane, she played through contact, kept her balance, and regularly put pressure on the defense by drawing fouls.

Palacio also displayed growth as a playmaker. She did not become locked into scoring mode and showed impressive awareness when feeding the post. She delivered passes at the right time and from the proper angles, helping her teammates establish position and finish around the basket.

What made her performance stand out was the pace at which she played. Palacio never appeared rushed. She controlled possessions, waited for openings, and showed the confidence to make defenders work before attacking. That patience, combined with her ball control and shot-making ability, made her difficult to contain throughout the event.

On the defensive end, Palacio competed with a high motor and plenty of heart. She accepted every challenge, pressured the ball, and was willing to help wherever needed. Whether she was guarding her assignment, rotating to support a teammate, or battling against a difficult matchup, she remained active and engaged.

Palacio showed at LSU Team Camp that she is becoming more than an explosive scoring guard. Her range, patience, passing ability, defensive effort, and willingness to play through contact continue to make her one of Louisiana's most intriguing guards in the Class of 2028.

[player_tooltip player_id='1260719' first='Allie' last='Roach'] was one of the prospects who made a strong statement at LSU Team Camp, showing exactly why her long-term upside is so exciting. The 2029 guard/wing out of Orange Beach has the kind of college-ready frame that immediately stands out, but it was her all-around game, aggressiveness, and confidence that really left an impression. Roach played with purpose on both ends, attacking the action with a high motor and showing flashes of a player who can impact the game in a variety of ways.

Offensively, Roach was tough to contain. She showed a nasty first step and used a delayed skip move effectively to create driving angles and get downhill. Once she got into the lane, she played with control, physicality, and touch around the rim. She also showed very good ball control, smooth footwork, and the ability to score at multiple levels. Whether it was finishing inside, knocking down mid-range shots, or stretching the floor from deep, Roach looked comfortable and confident. She also moved well without the basketball, forcing defenders to work and creating opportunities within the flow of the game.

Defensively, Roach brought intensity and activity every trip down the floor. Her fast hands, aggressive ball pressure, and overall basketball IQ helped her make things difficult for opposing guards. She competed hard, stayed engaged, and showed the kind of two-way mindset coaches love to see. Roach's blend of size, skill, feel, and effort gives her a very intriguing ceiling moving forward.

Already a proven young producer at Orange Beach, Roach has shown she can put up numbers and impact winning. With continued development, she has all the tools to become one of the more talked-about prospects in her class. Her LSU Team Camp performance only added more buzz — [player_tooltip player_id='1260719' first='Allie' last='Roach'] is a name that should absolutely be on people's radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='943335' first='Kendal' last='Thomas'] stepped onto the floor at LSU Team Camp and made it clear why she is regarded as one of the top guards in Louisiana's 2027 class. The Salmen and LA Royalty standout played with confidence, control, and a competitive edge that separated her from the moment the action started.

Thomas is a dynamic guard who can impact the game in multiple ways. She controls the pace, creates for teammates, and knows when to shift gears and attack. Her downhill ability is a major weapon, as she uses quickness, change of direction, and strong instincts to get into the paint and put pressure on the defense. Once she gets rolling, she becomes extremely difficult to keep out of scoring areas.

She also showed that she is more than just a scorer. Thomas sees the floor well, makes smart decisions, and consistently creates opportunities for others. Defensively, she plays with active hands, anticipation, and toughness, turning pressure into steals and transition chances. That two-way production is a major reason she continues to stand out among the best players in her class.

Her LSU Team Camp performance was another reminder of how complete her game has become. Thomas looked poised, aggressive, and comfortable against strong competition. She showed the ability to lead, score, defend, and make winning plays, all while playing with the confidence of a guard who understands exactly what she can do.

[player_tooltip player_id='943335' first='Kendal' last='Thomas'] did not just have a good showing at LSU Team Camp—she backed up her ranking and proved why her name belongs in the conversation with the top 2027 prospects in Louisiana.

[player_tooltip player_id='1781261' first='Sofia' last='Liana Johnson'] was one of the young prospects who really jumped off the page at LSU Team Camp. The 2030 guard out of Mandeville played with the confidence, poise, and aggressiveness of a player well beyond her years, and she backed it up every time she touched the floor. Johnson showed a high motor from start to finish, competed hard on every possession, and consistently made her presence felt with the way she attacked the game.

What stood out immediately was her feel for the game. Johnson is a smooth passer with impressive court vision, and she sees plays develop before most young guards do. She did a great job getting others involved, making smart reads, and keeping the offense flowing. At the same time, she showed she is far from just a facilitator. Johnson proved she can score it at all three levels, attacking driving lanes with confidence, using a nice euro step in traffic, and finishing plays with control. She also showed the ability to knock shots down and keep defenders on edge with her versatility.

The biggest takeaway was just how advanced her game looks for such a young prospect. She communicates, plays aggressive, and carries herself like a player who understands how to impact winning. Johnson's LSU Team Camp performance was the kind that makes you take notice fast. She has the tools, the toughness, and the upside to be a major name to watch moving forward. [player_tooltip player_id='1781261' first='Sofia' last='Liana Johnson'] is a young prospect with a very high ceiling, and she absolutely left a strong impression in Baton Rouge.
