Last week, before the scholastic live period, I attended a three-day camp, put on by Travis Diener, that included around 70 talented incoming freshmen from Wisconsin. I spent most of the three days learning about some of the 2030s before they get to high school in the fall, and taking notes on most of the players there. I didn't end up getting notes on every player, but we will look at some of the players who stood out from the three-day event in Mequon and what they bring to the floor.

The De Pere native is a player who stood out physically early on in the camp. Nelson has a strong frame and has the athletic tools to be an intriguing defender potentially early in her high school career. She is willing to play physically on both ends of the floor. I also liked how well she played gap defense away from the ball.

Gann is an undersized guard who has a motor that helps her play well against high-level competition. She plays hard in competitive drills or 5v5 settings at camp, and she flew around both ends of the floor. I was also impressed with how well she created offensively. Gann is a confident player with the ball in her hands.

The future Notre Dame Triton has some impressive moments in Mequon this past week. She moved her feet well laterally and was a solid perimeter defender when I watched her play. I also thought she played well within a five-player defense and was alert whether she was on or off the ball. Gosa also finished well through contact.

The future Dominican Knight was among the few players I'd seen play earlier than camp, so I had a rough idea of who she was before I stepped into the gym in Mequon. Morris is a talented guard who wants to put the ball in the basket and can do so. She is also a player with the talent to control games on the offensive end and create her own shot, and when she gets into a rhythm, she can score in bunches. She also has a desire to win and succeed that's evident wherever you see her play. As she matures over the next few years, she could become one of the more intriguing D3/D4 players in Wisconsin, depending on where the Knights land in enrollment and in competitive balance.
