Last week, before the scholastic live period, I attended a three-day camp, put on by Travis Diener, that included around 70 talented incoming freshmen from Wisconsin. I spent most of the three days learning about some of the 2030s before they get to high school in the fall, and taking notes on most of the players there. I didn't end up getting notes on every player, but we will look at some of the players who stood out from the three-day event in Mequon and what they bring to the floor.

The Appleton-area native was an intriguing player in Mequon over the three days. Crowe is the younger sister of current rising senior and standout Autumn, but Ava is a different player from her. Ava is a rangey forward who has a solid motor and moves well for a young 6-0 wing/forward. There is room for her to grow and develop her skill set, but she has some physical tools to help St. Mary Catholic as early as this coming high school season.

The future Sun Prairie East wing is a strong kid for her age and can handle playing at the high school level when she earns some playing time. Kuntz showed some ability to play through contact over the three days and was confident playing off two feet around the basket.

The Lake Mills wing had the physical tools to stand out when she walked into the gym. Rose is an athletic wing with the range to be a disruptor on the defensive end. However, she showed she could knock down shots from beyond the arc and could put the ball on the floor and get downhill. She's another one with plenty of room to grow, but there she has plenty of talent, and is one I'm eager to see at the high school level at some point.

The lead guard, who will attend Dominican, brings a lot of energy to the floor. Lee is a solid ball handler who can turn the corner and get downhill to finish around the basket. I also thought she was comfortable with the ball in her hands under pressure, which will be needed to play at higher levels as a guard. However, I loved the passion she brought to the defensive side of the floor. She has pride in her defensive game and wants to compete whenever she steps on the floor.
