June means it's time to update the Prep Hoops New York 2028 rankings, and this cycle brings plenty of new talent to the board. The class is growing, and the names being added have earned their spots. These are the prospects worth circling on your radar over the next few years    Falletti is a five-tool player and a deserving Player of the Year and All-State selection. She possesses elite finishing ability around the basket, paired with polished shooting mechanics and a quick release that allows her to stretch the floor and keep defenses honest. An elite rebounder, she consistently crashes the glass and converts on putbacks. She can get defenders off balance off the dribble, and her court vision allows her to find teammates for easy buckets when defenses collapse.     Brennan is a physical, mobile big who brings a rare combination of athleticism and skill to the post. She runs the floor well and possesses the footwork to create clean looks in the paint, operating effectively out of the high post and finishing with either hand through contact. Her controlled explosiveness and quick release make her a threat from multiple spots, and her fadeaway jumper gives defenders one more problem to solve. She cleans up on the glass and is physical enough to shield off defenders and create space. Her vision lets her be creative off the bounce, uses the spin move and Euro step to navigate traffic, and finishes with touch and confidence in congested areas.     Amya LaFlair is an elite scorer with the ability to get to the basket and knock down shots with high accuracy. She has the makings of an even more dangerous offensive weapon as she continues to refine her mechanics toward a quicker, higher release point. A natural playmaker, she distributes the ball well and has a decent handle with some shot creation ability off the dribble. She plays fearlessly, not shying away from contact and using it to her advantage. On defense, she's instinctive and jumps passing lanes.     Beaver is a skilled shooter with good mechanics and a quick release who can knock down shots from deep. She has good size and plays with physicality on both ends of the floor, making her a matchup problem offensively. She can pull up from range or attack the basket and finish through contact. Defensively, Beaver is tenacious and impactful, with the ability to block shots and create turnovers on the perimeter.     Erker is a high-motor competitor who impacts the game on both ends with her relentless energy and physicality. She is an aggressive perimeter defender who jumps passing lanes and has the handle to push the pace in transition or take it all the way herself.
