Saturday morning gave us a look at several players who may not have been on our radar coming into the weekend, but certainly made a case to change that. One of the best parts of summer basketball is discovering new talent, and a handful of players made themselves difficult to ignore with the way they competed and the impact they had on the game.   If these performances are any indication of what's to come, don't be surprised if these names begin appearing on more scouting lists and attracting more attention as the summer progresses. Here are a few players worth keeping an eye on moving forward.    Anna's movement on the court surprised us. She reads the floor with the poise of a varsity veteran and always seems to know where she needs to be before the play develops. Whether it was cutting through traffic on her way to the basket or navigating through screens defensively, her feel for the game stood out.   She follows her assignment well, fights through screens, and isn't afraid to play through contact on either end of the floor. What makes her especially valuable is her versatility—she fills gaps wherever her team needs her and looks comfortable playing in multiple roles and positions.     A new find on Saturday was Emma. She sees passing lanes that other players don't, delivering passes into windows that most players wouldn't even attempt. Her court vision and feel for the game stood out immediately.   She handles the ball with confidence and composure, and defenses quickly learned that leaving her open is a mistake she is capable of making them pay for. On the defensive end, she was equally impressive. Tasked with guarding one of the more relentless offensive players on the floor, she stayed disciplined, competed through every possession, and helped hold her assignment to limited production.   Her combination of playmaking, poise, and defensive effort makes her a player worth keeping an eye on moving forward.     Ava showed us that she and the paint are good friends. Time and again, she was in the middle of the action, pulling down rebounds, tipping balls out to teammates to extend possessions, and setting solid screens to create opportunities for others. Her confidence and comfort level around the basket continue to grow, and it is showing in her play.   What makes her even more intriguing is her ability to facilitate offense from the elbow and high post. She reads cutters well, makes smart decisions with the ball, and keeps the offense moving instead of forcing shots. As her confidence continues to rise, so will her impact on both ends of the floor.     As a player who wasn't flashy but always seemed to be involved in the impactful moments, Mayci consistently found ways to affect the game. She was pulling down rebounds, finding open lanes, and making the kind of smart decisions that kept possessions alive instead of giving them away.   She has a knack for being in the right place at the right time and making winning plays that don't always show up in the highlight reel. Players like Mayci are invaluable because they do the little things well, take care of the basketball, and quietly make everyone around them better.     Addison's ball handling is impressive, especially for a small forward. She has the versatility to play anywhere from the two through the five, giving her team tremendous flexibility in how she can be utilized on the floor.   What stands out most is her ability to impact the game on the glass. She pulls down rebounds well outside her area and crashes the boards relentlessly, often coming away with possessions that don't seem to belong to her. Combined with her ability to put the ball on the floor and initiate offense, she creates matchup problems for opponents who have to decide whether to guard her like a post or a wing.
