2026 AAU Final Live Period: Prospects To See In Chi-Town

This weekend being the last Live Period for the 2026 season means that we have A TON of action across the Country and especially in Chicago over the next few days on the road. The five players listed below can all be seen in Chi-town as they compete with their respective AAU programs to close out their Summer.   Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!    [player_tooltip player_id='789125' first='Ava' last='Fuelling'] is locked and ready to go for this weekend at Nike TOC in Chicago. Fuelling is a high energy athlete, that understands the game of basketball from a strategic standpoint. Which is a good thing considering she is always her team's starting PG whenever she is lacing up her kicks. This knowledge of the game helps her thrive in meaningful moments both as a passing threat and as a scoring threat if you were to give her any open space. Fuelling will be competing with her usual [program_tooltip program_id='715891' first='Iowa' last='Ball Stars'] 17U program to close out her AAU career this weekend and I'm sure she is extremely excited to finish things off on a positive note before moving back into school ball season this upcoming Winter.     With [player_tooltip player_id='886125' first='Hadley' last='Riehle'] competing out of Minnesota for AAU ball there are some times that we don't hear about her triumphs are a competitor but trust me, Riehle has been doing her thing once again this season with her Air Minnesota program in the Chi. Riehle is a noteworthy PG for her Class level. She makes smart plays while setting up her team's systems on both sides of the ball and she leads by from the front in anything she is doing. Her communication levels to her follow teammates is noteworthy, the way she makes she everyone else around her is on the same page. Not to mention, she has some natural skill. She possesses a soft touch on the ball and that helps her convert whenever she gets close to the rim. All in all, this program has some ballers so if you stop by this weekend to check them out, you are sure to see a playmaker or two, before heading off to the next court.     [player_tooltip player_id='880919' first='Faith' last='Perpich'] is coming off of one of the best overall season's for a Freshman throughout the state of Iowa last season and she is looking to keep that momentum rolling as we move into this Last Live period. Perpich competes on the undefeated 15U EYBL AIA team and she is one of their main producers on both sides of the ball. She might not be the one to score 30 consistently with the amount of high level scoring placed around her but she gets her own. She understands when to make the most out of her open opportunities and that's half the battle in this conversation. I think this AAU season has been a great one in general for Perpich. She has demonstrated that she can lead a team without having to consistently score the rock and that's going to bring her some collegiate attention because when you can do that, it can turn into something really special in the future.     Excited to have another chance to see [player_tooltip player_id='1216076' first='Makenna' last='Roeder'] on the road this weekend before we close up the 2026 AAU season. Roeder, the 5'7 CG, is a Swiss-army knife type player for the team she is competing with right now. Whatever you need done, just ask Roeder and she will be willing to do it for the good of the team. It can be the most minuscule task or it could be defending the best overall player from the other team, it all depends on the situation. Coaches at the next level love players that are willing to put the team in-front of themselves so that they can be successful and that's what we have here. If you are a college coach looking at 2028's this weekend in the city, this is definitely someone to keep an eye on.     If you haven't recognized it yet, [player_tooltip player_id='833966' first='Lizzy' last='Frazell'] is the ONLY prospect from Iowa, on the [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 17U EYBL team, and she should be highlighted for that moving into the last AAU weekend of her career. Frazell is a Drake commit, competing at the CG/SF position at 6'0. Frazell comes from a family of tall and athletic ballers. Her older brother was the exact same way when he was competing at the high school ranks so Lizzy's mixture of skill and size makes a lot of sense. Offensively, she is a three level scoring threat, being able to put the ball into the hoop at any given time. Defensively, she can defend her own position and she can switch onto someone bigger or smaller if need be. It's all up to what her assignment specifically is within that contest. I'm sure we will be hearing about Frazell with the Bulldogs over the next 4-5 seasons. If she keeps getting better with age/experience, who knows where she might end up when it's all said and done.
