Grassroots Spotlight on Missouri Flight 16U Championship Team

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri puts the spotlight on the [program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] 16U team from the SWMO area. The talented group was led by head coach Dale Lamberth. They were the Platinum Bracket champions in their division during Session II at the Run 4 Roses Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.   Here is look at the players we watched on the [program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] 16U team.     Kinley Kilburn: A 5'8" 2028 guard from Republic who has a versatile offensive skill set. The young lefty can drive it effectively and knock down perimeter jumpers. She also goes into the low post and can get deep position to score inside. She used her quick first step to beat defenders along the baseline. She did a good job on defense playing the passing lanes for steals.     [player_tooltip player_id='1818213' first='Madison' last='Hutton']: A 5'10" 2028 forward from Rolla with good positional size. She makes things happen with her athleticism and strong motor. She attacks well off the dribble and finished in the lane. She also dropped some nice dimes in transition, including a 40-foot cross court pass with her opposite hand that was very impressive. She also did a good job of getting out of her area to rebound.     [player_tooltip player_id='1244906' first='Khloe' last='Schlenker']: A 5'3" 2028 point guard from Nixa who has good quickness and also knew how to get into the lane and draw contact against bigger defenders. She is a good finisher in the transition game. She also hustled for loose balls and offensive rebounds.     Amari Perry: A 2028 point guard from Kickapoo who is very skilled and who distributes the ball well. She plays under control and she kept things organized on the court. She has a nice burst to get by defenders into the lane. She also has active hands and good timing on defense, which enabled her to get plenty of deflections.     [player_tooltip player_id='1244742' first='Sadie' last='Havens']: A 5'11" 2029 forward from Ozark who was very effective from the high post area. She could hit the 15 footer off the bounce and she can also put the ball on the floor and drive it. She also knew how to move people around in the lane for rebounding position.     [player_tooltip player_id='1819169' first='Drew' last='Miller']: A 5'8" guard from Greenfield who is a solid player with a nice feel for the game. She is a good ball handler who pass it well and keeps the offense flowing. She can score on the drive and she can also pick up an offensive rebound for a bucket.     [player_tooltip player_id='919250' first='Kennedy' last='Coppage']: A 5'6" guard from Springfield Catholic who plays a very aggressive game at both ends of the court. She is a very good ball hawk on the defensive end who can put pressure on opposing ball handlers. She was active on the top of the full court press defense. She can also hit the pull up jumper from 15 feet and knock down an open 3-pointer.     Addington Roberts: A 5'10" forward from Skyline who can score with solid post moves and a nice touch inside. She is also a good interior passer. She screens well and also times her cuts to get layups inside. She also rebounds the ball well.     [player_tooltip player_id='1818317' first='Chloe' last='Caffey']: A 5'9" small forward from Rolla who was very comfortable working out in the paint. Her footwork was good and she also ha a nice spin move in traffic to get a bucket, which she could with either hand. She was also very active on the offensive boards.
