Meet the Newest Names in the 2027 Rankings

Every rankings update brings opportunities for new players to make their debut, and this spring/summer was no exception. Whether they recently moved into Florida, earned larger roles with their travel ball or high school teams, or continued to elevate their games through consistent development, these prospects put themselves on the radar during our time watching them. After strong performances at various events throughout the spring and summer, each of these players did enough to earn a spot in the latest update to the 2027 Florida rankings:    Danielle makes her debut in the 2027 Florida rankings after a strong spring and summer in which she consistently showcased her versatility and ability to impact the game in multiple ways. I've seen her several times over the past few months, and she has continued to play a major role while leading her high school team in points, rebounds, steals, and blocks. She possesses good positional size, a strong frame, and length that translate well to the next level. She can affect the game on both ends of the floor and has established herself as one of the top 2027 prospects in Southwest Florida.     Oda enters the Florida 2027 rankings after bringing valuable international experience from competing with Norway and making the move to the US. She has good positional size and a strong frame that allow her to play multiple roles on the floor. Offensively, Oda is an efficient shooter with a high release, clean rotation, and the ability to get her shot off without needing much space. She also has the versatility to put the ball on the floor, get downhill, and finish at the rim which her a well-rounded offensive threat with intriguing upside.     Laura enters the Florida 2027 rankings after bringing valuable international experience from Germany and quickly showing she can compete at a high level in the US. She has a good frame and a fundamentally sound all-around game that translates well on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Telke is an efficient three-point shooter with a smooth stroke who sees the floor well and does a good job penetrating to create opportunities. Defensively, she anticipates plays at a high level and blocks shots well for her position by using her instincts and timing to impact the game on that end of the floor. Her combination of skill, versatility, and strong fundamentals makes her an intriguing addition to the 2027 class.     Rihanna makes her debut in the 2027 Florida rankings after a strong year that has already resulted in two college offers since June. Despite her smaller stature, she is a true lead guard who controls the pace of the game and plays with poise beyond her years. Riri does an excellent job of running the offense, keeping teammates involved, and distributing the ball from the point guard position. Her decision making, motor, composure, and ability to facilitate make her a valuable floor general and an ascending prospect in the 2027 class.     Isabella enters the 2027 Florida rankings after a strong summer that included earning a pair of college offers. Known primarily for her shooting ability, she is poised to play a major role for TC this season. Bella has a smooth stroke from the perimeter and is equally comfortable creating space off the dribble or knocking down shots on the move. She is an unselfish player who keeps the ball moving, competes hard every possession, and consistently makes winning plays with winning effort. Her combination of shooting, work ethic, and offensive versatility gives her the tools to make an impact at the next level.
