Some Talented Little Guards who Play Big Roles

Early in the SWMO area. She always impresses us with her ability to pass the ball and run a team. She has good quickness, court vision and a high basketball IQ. She plays with excellent pace, but her head is always up and her eyes are on the look out for open teammates on the move. She has excellent quickness and she plays with a fearless streak. She gets into the lane and has an uncanny way to finish amongst the taller defenders at a variety of angles. She moves well without the ball to get to the open spots to hit 3-pointers off the catch. Her range extends well beyond the 3-point line and she shoots it with confidence. She can also create off the dribble and drop a defender off before knocking down a step-back 3-pointer. Her pace is fast and furious and she keeps it up throughout the course of an entire game. She is very quick with nice handles and she knows how discard defenders with escape moves and excellent footwork to get off her perimeter jumpers.
