Some Under the Radar Forwards that We Watched Recently

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of Under the Radar forwards that we had a chance to watch during the past few months of summer competition.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3488.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1886288" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='952469' first='Arianna' last='Currithers'] (Mid Mo Mercury): A 5'10" 2028 forward from Capital City who is physically strong with a versatile skill set. She has solid handles and she attacks the basket well with tenacity. She has a quick first step to beat defenders into the lane. She can also hit 3-pointers off the catch. She is also a versatile defender who can guard multiple positions. She moves her feet well on the perimeter and she's strong enough to defend in low post.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3566.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1886293" /></figure>   Sadie Stockton ([program_tooltip program_id='715428' first='Real' last='Dream Chasers'] 16U): A 5'10" 2028 forward from Liberty North who plays well in the low post with her ability to establish and hold her position. She has good moves inside and she can score with either hand around the basket. She also has a quick second jump to grab offensive rebounds. She is comfortable putting the ball on the floor from the perimetr and she runs the court very well.   <figure class="wp-block-image"><img alt="" /></figure>   Isabella Rea (Phee Elite Rogers 17U): A 5'11" 2027 forward from Incarnate Word Academy who plays a solid old-school back to the basket game in the low post. She is physical and she uses her strength to establish good position inside. She can score in the low blocks and she can also step out and hit the 15 footer. She is also a very willing and capable screener to get her teammates open.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3604.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1886297" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1882558' first='Brianna' last='Cole'] (Phee Elite Olufson 16U): A 6'2" 2028 forward from St. Dominic who does an excellent job in the low post. She is very good at giving the passer a nice target and she catches the ball strong with both hands, which leads to a nice finish off the glass. She can score on a nice turnaround jumper in the lane and she can step out and hit the 15 footer off the catch. She runs the court well to get early position and post touches. She uses her mobility to make good rotations on the defensive end.     Valerie Singer ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 16U Hayes): A 6'1" 2028 forward from Blair Oaks who has good length and mobility. She uses that length and good timing to be an effective rebounder and shot blocker on defense. She utilized her mobility to score on multiple rim runs. She catches the ball well while on the move, whether its in the transition game or on the short roll after a screen.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3456.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1886299" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1230850' first='Addie' last='Burns'] ([program_tooltip program_id='713014' first='MO' last='Legacy']): A 5'11" 2027 forward from Webb City who has a very effective game in the low post with good footwork and fundamentals. She seals well for good position and can score with a nice touch. She can also make shots from 12 to 15 feet. She also drives well and she does a good job of keeping defenders on her hip when she is getting into the lane.
