North Dakota Rankings: 2028 New Additions Part 2

These girls round out the new additions to the 2028 class.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/dakotas/rankings/north-dakota-rankings/2028-rankings/">FULL 2028 RANKINGS - CLICK ME!</a>    Olson was an All-District selection in 2025-2026.  She brings a lot of value to the floor on both sides of the ball.  She is fearless offensively and attacks the basket with relentless enthusiasm.  She can absorb contact and maintain control for and-1 opportunities.  She has a sweet euro-step and can gracefully perform that move in transition.  She moves her feet well defensively and is a physically strong athlete.  Acalia will be looking to following up an All-District season in 25-26 with an All-Region performance in 26-27.     Jensen is one of Hettinger's best players and one of two athletes selected to the All-District team.  She is a lengthy 5'6, which makes her look bigger on the court than her listed height.  She moves well and stands out as an athlete every time she steps on the floor.  She is particularly strong going to her right hand and finds herself often at the basket.  She has a bunch of tools in her toolbox, including a nice floater.  She sets her feet on threes and has a quick release.  Jensen is someone to keep an eye on moving forward.     Falck was a key piece for the Huskies, particularly on the defensive end.  She is a very quick and active defender.  Opponents really struggled to get past her.  Her active hands deflected a ton of passes throughout the year and she was able to intercept her fair share of passes as well.  Her quickness and athletic ability lead me to think she will make a significant leap on the offensive end these next two seasons.  She shot just under 33% from three this season, indicating that she has ability to score the ball.     Eastlin was an All-District selection for Powers Lake in 2025-2026 and for good reason. She is a tough player who thrives on the right block. I am sure opposing coaches scout Powers Lake and want to force her off the right block, but it is easier said than done. She finds her position and dominates on that side of the basket. She has a great jump hook to her left shoulder that is very difficult to defend. She has the soft touch required to make that shot over opposing defenses. She commands double-teams from opponents and is good at kicking the ball out to her teammates on the perimeter.     Ross is a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court. She is an impressive 5'11 and a physically strong athlete. She easily pushes opponents around the basket and is beginning to learn how to leverage her strength for position. She is a good leaper and fights for offensive rebounds. Her touch around the basket is good and she can finish through contact. Aryah plays with great effort and sprints back on defense. Her hard work was rewarded with a spot on the All-District team this season.     Aliyah is an impressive athlete and towers over many Class B opponents. She looks taller than her listed 5'10 height and looks like she has some room to grow. Her length was an asset last season on the floor as she was able to disrupt a lot of passing lanes. She snagged a ton of rebounds over opposing players and kept possessions alive. Friedt has an older sister who was a standout for Oakes, so you know she has a great mentor to model her game after.     Ellie was a reserve on a Davies team that found itself as EDC Tournament Champions and State Runner-Ups in 2026. That Eagles team loses a ton of production with the graduation of Fallon Passanante and Quinn Skari. Coach Matt Veit will be looking for returning letter-winners to step up and attempt to fill that lost production. Lies is someone I think can earn a bigger role and help in 2026-2027. She shot the three-ball in limited spots last season at 41%. She has a smooth looking shot and quick release that will get more looks next season. She is someone with potential and one I am looking forward to watching more.
