Talented Group of 2029 Forwards at the Run 4 Roses

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at a very talented group of Class of 2029 forwards who we got a chance to watch at the Run 4 Roses Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3585_8b7b0a.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1882959" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1690613' first='Bella' last='Monaghan'] (MO Nets 17U): A 5'11" forward from Doniphan who was playing all the way up at the 17U level and she was putting in work. She can operate well in the low post and on the perimeter with equal effectiveness. She gets excellent position and she can score with a variety of moves in the post. The young lefty also has a nice turn and face game with the ability to drive it against opposing defenders.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/IMG_0373.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1825004" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1233488' first='Erin' last='Donald'] (Phee Elite Stricker): A 6'2" forward from Incarnate Word Academy who is one of the strongest and most physical players that you are going to find. She gets tough buckets in the paint and rebounds with tenacity. She does an excellent job of getting good seals in the low post and holding her position. She is a very good finisher in the post. She also also catches the ball from the high post and can drive it well from the perimeter.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3377.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1884919" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1243236' first='Rylee' last='Anderson'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] Tristian): A 5'11" forward from Rolla who plays a very strong back to the basket game in the post. She seals well, catches the ball and can score with a soft touch. She also passes well out of the post when she sees a double team. She can score effectively with either hand. She is also a good rebounder who throws a nice outlet pass to get the break started.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/Kaitlin-Shane.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275087" /></figure>   Kaitlin Shane ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] Juju): A 5'11" forward from Parkway Central who plays with great activity with her good length and athleticism. She is able to contest shots in the mid post and react quickly to grab the defensive rebound. She moves well in the lane and can score around the basket with a nice touch. She also rebounds the ball and runs the court with ease.   Sophia Hall (Phee Elite Adams): A 6'0" forward from Farmington who plays the game with good skill and toughness. She establishes good position and she can score around the basket. She is also a willing and excellent passer out of the post. She also passes it well from the high post to open cutters and perimeter shooters. She also has a strong defensive presence with her ability to block shots.   [player_tooltip player_id='1243241' first='Josephine' last='Reinke'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 16U Hayes): A 6'0" forward from Marshall who was putting in work while playing up with the 16Us. She has good footwork in the paint with a variety of moves, including a nice up and under to score. She can also wheel and deal from the high post to score on the drive. She can pass it out of the post when she faces a double team and she can find open cutters from the perimeter. She can also step out and hit the baseline jumper from 15 feet. Her two older sisters reached the Division I level. She attacks the basket well and can finish in the lane. She puts constant pressure on the defense. She can also step out and shoot it from 3-point range. She is tough on the drive when she puts her head down and attacks downhill. She covers a lot of ground with her long stride. She is excellent on the defensive end on the full court press and in a half-court setting. She excels on the defensive end and as a rebounder. She is a physical player who enjoys the battle inside for position. She can also handle the ball and throw the accurate pass to an open teammate.
