Prep Girls Hooos Missouri takes a look a some of the standout performers from Thursday's first day of action at the Run 4 Roses Classic in Louisville, Kentucky

[player_tooltip player_id='849007' first='Anaya' last='Perry'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] 17U): The 5'9 2027 guard from Kickapoo was probably the most impressive perimeter shooters of the Missouri players that we watched on Thursday. D St he so talented and smooth to the point where it looked almost effortless at times. She let the game come to her, but when she asserted herself, she was scoring on straight line drives and breaking down defenders to hit mid range jumpers or pull up 3-pointers. She also shares the ball with her teammates in an unselfish manner.

McKenzie English ([program_tooltip program_id='713014' first='MO' last='Legacy'] 17U): A 5'10 2028 guard from Pittsburg, JS who was just a matchup nightmare. She used her tremendous strength to power her way into the lane for buckets. She kept defenders on her hip on her way to the basket. She has an old school feel to her game as she played at her own speed. Her footwork in the post was good as she could finish with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113092' first='Emma' last='Rodgers'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 17 Baggett): A 2027 point guard from Montgomery County who recalled played the position like a champ in the game we watched. She set the pace of the game according to how she wanted to go; slow or fast. She sees the court well and she was passing her teammates open at times. The passes were crisp and on time. She can also get a bucket. She got two feet in the paint to hit a runner and she also hit the open 3-pointer from downtown.

Mimi Briggs (KC Dream 14U Jackson): A talented 5'8 2030 guard who will be attending Park Hill South. She is physically strong and she can score at all three levels. She has a quick first step and she was able to touch the paint at any time. She was powering her way into the lane for layups and pulling up to hit mid range jumpers. She also dropped some impressive dimes to open teammates while on the the move.

[player_tooltip player_id='1877922' first='Peyton' last='Mueller'] (Phee Elite 15U Hughes): A 5'10 2029 forward from St Joseph's who is a high energy performer. She's a coach's dream because she was a high producer on offense without having plays run for her. She was getting buckets on straight rim runs. If they weren't layups in transition, they were offensive rebounds for putbacks. Her level of hustle cass too level. She was also scoring on her cutting off the ball. It was impressive to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1811052' first='Lilly' last='McDonough'] ([program_tooltip program_id='948123' first='TC' last='Hoops'] 16U): The 5'3 2029 point guard from Delta was her usual fearless self when it came to attacking the basket in the land of taller defenders. She is usually the smallest player on the court. And as usual, she doesn't care. She is coming downhill and she has an uncanny ability tto finish at a variety of angles. She keeps the tempo going by pushing the ball on offense and playing the front of the full court pressure defense.
