Who Were Some Saturday Standouts at the Run 4 Roses

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the standout performers from Saturday's third day of action at the Run 4 Roses Showcase in Louisville, Kentucky   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3703.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1880687" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1276482' first='Rylee' last='Riggins'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 16U STL Green): A 5'10" 2028 forward from Hazelwood Central who has shown a lot of improvement over the past year. She has good length and athleticism and she covers a lot of ground with her strides when she drives to the basket. She also has very quick moves and good footwork when she catches the ball in the low post. She runs the court easily and she was able to get a transition bucket on one end and a chase down block on the other end. She also has a quick second and third jump on the offensive boards to get putbacks. She has a bright future as she continues to develop as a player.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3611.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1880688" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1279108' first='Ava' last='Sigurdsson'] (Phee Elite 15U Stricker): A 5'11" 2029 guard from Incarnate Word Academy who was one of the most impressive perimeter shooters that we watched during the weekend. She was lighting it up from 3-point range with her excellent range, quick release and confident shooting stroke. She moves well without the ball and relocates to the open spots to get her shots off. She also has the handles to attack the close outs and get to the bucket on dribble drives. Her excellent positional height gives her advantage over smaller guards when she attacks the basket. Her teammates also did a good job of getting her the ball when she had the hot hand.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3757.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1880689" /></figure>   Amarlii Hart ([program tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 15U STL Stovall): The 5'8" 2029 forward from Whitfield was impressive in the Gold Bracket, Cyan Division championship game with a team-high 14 points in her team's victory. She is a tremendous offensive rebounder with a tireless motor and a quick jump around the basket to get putbacks. When other players are gathering to jump, she is already up in the air grabbing the rebound. She also gets out of her area. It's very impressive because she is able to do it against much taller players. She puts in the work and she gets the positive results. She also excels on the defensive end where she has the athleticism to defends perimeter players and the motor to work inside against post players.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3715.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1880693" /></figure>   Lilly Brown (Phee Elite 16U Brumley): A 6'0" 2028 forward from MICDS who continues to make strides as a very reliable post player. She was very productive in the game we watched her during the afternoon. One play we like was when she contested a shot in the mid post area, then bounded into action to grab the defensive rebound with a quick reaction. She was working hard to get good position in the low post and she had multiple finishes where she used the backboard very effectively. She was also working well in the high post against a zone where she passed it well to open cutters and perimeter shooters.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3754.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1880694" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1050313' first='Susan' last='Irons'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 15U STL Stovall): A 6'0" 2029 forward from Cor Jesu who scored 12 points in her team's victory in the Gold Bracket championship game of the Cyan Division. She is a very skilled young forward who showed her versatile skill set on the perimeter. She dribbled the ball coast to coast to score on a layup and she also executed a nice spin move in the lane to hit the short jumper. She also scores in the low post with a nice turnaround jumper.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/IMG_0514.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1825602" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1859714' first='Laila' last='Hayes'] (Rise & Reign 14U): A 5'3" 2030 point guard from Parkway North who plays the role of playmaker and scoring threat with equal effectiveness. In the game we watched her, she was a one-girl press-breaker against full court pressure, which led to an open shot for a teammate or a coast to coast drive for a layup. She stays low on the dribble, which gives her burst to get by defenders. The young southpaw also a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range. She will be a factor on Parkway North's varsity on the first day.
