I said in 2010 that social media would do more harm than good in girls' basketball because it gives so many people who don't know what they're talking about a platform to sound "not too bright." I'm not a big fan of rankings; they're based on someone's opinion, yet I can't give an opinion if I haven't seen you, and I have been posting that since I started doing it over a decade ago, but due to trying to speed-read or lack of comprehension, it continues to go over the heads of others

One more time, I'm not in any cliques; I have no AGENDA, and anything I write is based on what's in front of me. Keep in mind when I type #ThereIsNoMe, well it isn't because I'm the first person to cover girls' basketball in Texas; I've helped thousands get on the map, as well as go to college, and my daughter played a dozen seasons in the WNBA, winning championships there, as well as in college at Texas A&M, where she decided to go after receiving over 100 D1 offers so I hate being questioned period, show up and show me, that's the easiest way, here ya go

Crudup is one of the most improved players in Texas from before high school to now, and seeing her continue to add more to her game each time I catch her speaks volumes about her work ethic. She has elevated her range, as well as body control after contact, yet seeing her score around the basket with either hand JUST DID IT for me see evaluations here

Johnson impressed me so much that my initial sighting and my exact words were "she's one of the most poised 2028 players I've seen" because she was playing up, and for the novices, "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against." see evaluation here so watching her "on the court" progression has been nice and seeing her turn into a "take the game over" player down the stretch was on full display in July see evaluations here

Marshall has shown me she can score multiple ways, but her range has gotten deeper, and her ability to get by the defender in the set has also jumped. I need to mention her defense, both in the set and baseline to baseline, plus her court vision in transition is a huge plus see evaluations here

Lausser did something which overly impressed me over the past season, and that was making a comeback after nagging injuries. Keep in mind, she played hurt most of the season, and watching her play through the pain, while being serviceable, was special; however, as July approached and that pain was disappearing, she went on a tear on center stage see evaluations here
