2030 Top Five: Prospects Showing Major Growth This Summer

The 2030 class continues to show why it could be one of the more talented groups to watch moving forward, with several players making noticeable jumps over the past few months. These five have continued to develop their games while taking on new challenges, and their recent performances have helped them separate themselves from the group. Here are five players who have made some of the biggest strides in recent months.    Since the last update, Treyana has continued to grow in her all-around game and is becoming one of the more difficult one-on-one matchups in the class. She has added more to her offensive game, stretching the floor out to the mid-range while also using her athleticism to challenge and change shots around the rim. One underrated part of her game is her ability to pass out of the post, giving her another way to make an impact when the defense collapses.     This was a big summer for Aryss as she played up multiple levels and gained experience against older players. She has held her own on both ends of the floor showing that she can compete while make plays offensively. Her ability to grab a rebound and immediately push in transition changes things for her team, while her improved ability to stretch the floor gives the offense another dimension.     Roxann is looking more and more like a point guard of the future in the state, especially when it comes to her craftiness, vision and pace. There aren't many incoming freshmen who have looked as comfortable as she has over the past few months while playing with the ball in her hands. She continues to do a good job taking whatever the defense gives her offensively while also finding ways to create for those around her.     Watching Taylor make a difference at the varsity level for Windsor in June was a pleasure to see, especially with how comfortable she looked against older competition. She was able to make an impact during stretches of games on both ends of the floor and showed that she wasn't afraid of the moment. The biggest thing that stood out was her composure, which allowed her to make plays without looking rushed.     Keira has moved into the top five with the growth we've seen from her over the last three months, especially during her time with her high school team in June. She is shaping up to be more of a true point guard when needed, showing that she can handle the ball and take on more responsibility as a creator. She looked really good with the ball in her hands while also showing that she can be a distributor and make the right reads for her teammates.
