20th Annual GITG Myles McGowan Classic 2030s: Part 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The <strong>20th Annual Gems In The Gym Myles McGowan Classic</strong> in Oakland, California once again brought together some of the top young girls basketball talent from across the country. The Class of <strong>2030</strong> was especially impressive, with several incoming freshmen showing that they are already capable of competing on a national stage. The south paw displayed great guard skills, strength and toughness which makes her a match up nightmare. She has soft hands which allows her to finish around the rim, ability to hit the mid range and three ball. I expect her to be an elite high major prospect as she has the size, tools, skill set and potential to compete at that level. She thrives in filling lanes, and knowing how to move without the ball. I loved her ability to back door and basket cut to get open looks at the rim. Jenkins displayed a very high basketball IQ and play-making ability. I expect her to turn a lot of heads heading into her Freshmen campaign. She showed that she had the ability to take over games in high pressure situations by hitting big shots or looking to make big defensive stops to keep her team in the game. The southpaw has good length and relentless motor. Murff caught my attention with her athletic ability as she showed she could disrupt passing lanes and thrive in transition. I loved her quick first step, ability to survey the floor, and make the right plays. She has a high IQ on both ends of the floor and I expect her stock to surge nationally as one of the premier combo guards in her class.
