Brielle Mays Commits to Missouri State

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top guards in the Kansas City area will be staying in the state to play her college basketball next season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Class of 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='803073' first='Brielle' last='Mays'] of Staley has given a commitment to play at Missouri State University. The 5'10" southpaw guard made her announcement on her social media accounts this weekend. She had more than a dozen Division I scholarship offers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mays is entering her fourth year as a starter for Staley, which has been one of the top programs in the state during her career. She helped the Falcons to back-to-back runner-up finishes in the Class 6 state championship game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a junior, Mays averaged 10 points, two rebounds and two assists a game while making a total of 63 3-pointers in helping Staley to a 29-3 record.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During the summer grassroots season, Mays played with the MoKan Elite 17U EYBL squad. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
