Maryann Kenyon Commits to Nebraska

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the state's top prospects in the Class of 2027 is headed to the Big Ten Conference.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Standout forward Maryann Kenyon of Marquette gave a commitment to Nebraska on Monday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'2 Kenyon is a versatile all-around talent who can play virtually any position on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a junior, she averaged 22 points, nine rebounds and, three assists and two steals in leading the Mustangs to a 24-6 record and a district championship. She had 29 points and 17 rebounds in a victory over St Joseph's in the Class 6, District 2 championship game last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kenyon played for the Napheesa Collier Elite 17U team for Jordan Olufson during the summer grassroots season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
