<!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Sophomore ID Camp is always one of my favorite events because it is strictly about development and seeing what players have added to their game. Watching players come back from year one and show growth in different areas shows us this basketball thing is serious to them. With multiple 5v5 games to evaluate, we also get a good look at who can consistently impact the game through scoring, defense, playmaking, and making the right plays. Every team needs a player like Sweeney, a lockdown on the defensive end and an absolute pest of a defender. She drew at least two 5-second calls on her matchup simply because she knows how to move her feet well. A strong 3&D player who brings consistent pressure defensively and can still make an impact on the offensive end when her opportunities come.
