<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>LYNN HAVEN - The A. Crawford Mosley Dolphins' girls basketball team enjoyed a winning record during the 2025-26 season. The Dolphins finished 13-11. With new coach Robert Shields, who brings with him a vast amount of experience after he piloted the Robert C. Byrd Eagles, and experience returning on both sides of the ball, the group is planning on finishing the upcoming season with another positive outcome. She handles the ball like a small forward. Her basketball IQ allows her to make some great inside plays. She has the will and the want to change her game to always improve her mechanics. Oh yes. All the physical gifts are there for her to dominate on the biggest stage. She can consistently take the ball to the basket and hit her mid-range shots. She jumps well, has great court vision and can shoot on the move. The only thing she needs to work on is her outside shot. She can hit the big bucket then go down on the other end of the court and accept her defensive assignment with aplomb. But, the positives don't end there for Sherrard, no. From the film I have watched and her coach Robert Shield's comments, she is a confident shooter with an easily repeatable shot who when she sets her feet take high quality shots that look good as they leave her hand.
