The Adrian College Prospect Camp brought together players from several different classes for an opportunity to compete, learn from the coaching staff, and showcase their games. While there was plenty of experience in the gym, several of the younger prospects gave me reasons to take notice as I watched them work through drills before finishing the day with 5v5 action. Whether it was their ability to score, create for teammates, defend, rebound, or simply show flashes of what their games could become, these underclassmen made the most of their opportunity. Here's a closer look at some of the younger players who caught my attention at the Adrian College Prospect Camp.

Rayonna is a 2029 guard who showed some promising pieces to her game at the Adrian College Prospect Camp. On the defensive end, she displayed active hands and good instincts, coming away with multiple steals and creating opportunities for her team. Offensively, Rayonna showed confidence from the perimeter, knocking down shots from behind the arc when given space. Her ability to contribute as a perimeter shooter while also creating plays defensively gave me a couple of areas to keep an eye on as the young guard continues to develop.

Payton is a 2029 guard who showed a well-rounded skill set at the Adrian College Prospect Camp. She made an impact defensively with active hands and good anticipation, jumping a passing lane for a steal and creating opportunities for her team. Offensively, Payton showed good court vision and a willingness to create for others, grabbing an offensive rebound and immediately finding a teammate for a dime, while also delivering a nice drive-and-kick and a well-timed pass in transition. She showed some range as a shooter as well, knocking down a deep three from the top of the key and connecting on a corner three during a 4v4 reaction drill. Her combination of perimeter shooting, passing, defensive instincts, and ability to make plays for teammates gave me plenty to like from the young guard.

Brinley is a 2029 guard who showed a nice feel for playing in transition at the Adrian College Prospect Camp. She consistently ran the floor hard and put herself in position to be rewarded with buckets on the break. Brinley also showed some shooting touch, stepping into a long two from the corner and knocking it down. One of her better sequences came after securing a defensive rebound, when she immediately pushed the pace with her head up, surveyed the floor, and delivered a nice pass to a teammate in transition. Her willingness to run the floor, contribute on the glass, and look to create for others showed some promising pieces from the young guard.

Julianna is a 2029 post who showed some promising tools on both ends of the floor at the Adrian College Prospect Camp. She made her presence felt around the basket by rebounding well and using her size and timing to come away with multiple blocks on the defensive end. Julianna also showed that her offensive game can extend beyond the paint, stepping out to the wing and knocking down a long two. Her ability to contribute on the glass, protect the paint, and show some shooting touch away from the basket gave me several things to like from the young post.

Sophia is a 2029 guard who showed her ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor at the Adrian College Prospect Camp. Offensively, she had an impressive slash to the basket, attacking the lane and showing good body control and strength as she absorbed contact on her way to the rim. On the defensive end, Sophia showed active hands and good anticipation, coming away with a couple of steals. Her willingness to attack the basket and ability to create opportunities on the defensive end were promising pieces from the young guard.
